I use Simply Bigger Trees SE - (formerly SkySight SBT) and noticed that there was a type of noise to the vanilla textures that didn't look good in game. It seems to cause eye strain. It's like the trees were never in focus. It was awful.
Then I DLed this mod and the tree textures are not 'noisy' anymore. They don't seem out of focus and grainy looking at a distance. I also noticed this mod didn't cause me any noticeable drop in fps. If I did lose any fps it wasn't more than 1-2 fps because I'm still around what I usually see.
So thanks for this mod and wow, it makes a huge difference!
Hi! I noticed that some people wanted a snowy version of this glorious mod.
I've been working on just that for myself. Using this as a base, the snow is entirely redone as I was never happy with the original look (snow was too blocky, branches too dark).
When it's done and tested, I would like to publish it on the Nexus, pointing to this original mod as well and with credit to you. Thoughts?
Thanks again for the work, the branches look great with EVT lush and green bark option.
Would be cool if you could add the snowy tree branches to this mod, no colour correction just in HD. I donĀ“t know, I just like the vanilla trees over all other tree mods. Not only are the low performance but I think they fit in great with the landscape and climate. They are both small and barren like trees would be in cold climates on high attitude, also do it enhance the size off the landscape/mountains compared to mods with enlarged trees.
Yep. I like this. A tree overhaul that doesn't interfer with my Pfusher's Parallax Tree Bark which ''I will never replace'' and i regret trying all replacments because it's quality is simply unmatched. Skyrim without Parallax doesn't look alive, once you try it you'll get addicted.
No need guys to downsize seriously. Tested on Nvidia 1660 GTX 6VRAM and even on the old GT 1030 2VRAM separately. No difference no fps drop. Install freely!
I'm sorry but no. The vanilla branch textures are 4K, it would make no sense to downsize even further as it would look worse than the original. So you'd have a texture replacement for nothing. Perhaps you downloaded the no mipmap version and that's why you're having issues?
yes, but i wroted bad, mybe i can work well with a 4k version... my modlist generally is all 1k, i'm using dyndolod too with medium settings, all to the excentiall and minimum :/
