About this mod

Do your vanilla torches keep burning out, leaving you in a dark, cold and damp cave?
Are you a mage tired of throwing up candlelight and magelight spells when rolling through dungeons?
Do you just want some fancy ass stuff that's cooler than vanilla ice cream cone torches??
TAA - DAAAA !!! the DWEMER TORCH mod!

Dwemer Torches!

NOTICE
This is NOT my mod! I was kindly given permission by the creator/author Imperator3 from www.modgames.net to upload this to SkyrimNexus.
I have tweaked certain things, as well as adding a new torch that has the same brightness and radius as vanilla torch.
In my spare time, I'll do my best to apply fixes to any bugs as I currently have already. So far, I've toned down the brightness and radius of the torches, and I've removed it from levelled lists so now in SSE, you shouldn't come across guards carrying them around anymore.

Includes-
Eight stand-alone, (kind of lore-friendly) Dwemer Torches!

Dwemer Torch (Red)
Dwemer Torch (Orange)
Dwemer Torch (Yellow)
Dwemer Torch (Green)
Dwemer Torch (Cyan)
Dwemer Torch (Purple)
Dwemer Torch (White)
Dwemer Torch (Dim White) - This torch will shine just a TOUCH brighter than in-game vanilla torches.

You can retrieve these lights in a chest inside Mzulft Storage Wing on the trail to the Dwarven Ruins of Mzulft.
Alternatively, you can add these to your inventory by accessing the console, and entering help "dwemer torch"

Compatibility-
And I'm 99% sure that there is no in-compatibility with this mod,
unless you have something that changes the storeroom to the Dwemer Ruins of Mzulft, which I doubt.
Torches for Realistic Lighting doesn't have any effect on these from what I've been told.
If you do find anything, leave a comment or PM me.

Notes!
-The previous version of this mod in Oldrim had the torches in the the levelled lists or whatever,
so you'd find them on guards and stuff, kinda immersion breaking considering how rare and unique these are.
I've finally found out how to remove them from the levelled lists, so now you should only be able to find them in the Mzulft Storeroom, or console.
(Let me know if this works for you)

-Basically, they
act as torches. You can block with them, and bash with them.
When you bash with the
m, they set fire to your enemy just as vanila torches do.

-The lights are pretty bright, brighter than vanilla torches, and are great for mods that darken nights and dungeons!
If you do find these TOO bright, I've added in a new torch that has the same brightness and radius as a vanilla torch!
Again, it's basically a dimmer version of the white torch, but has the same brightness and radius as a vanilla torch.

-THIS IS NOT MY MOD. I was very kindly given permission to upload this to SkyrimNexus by the mod's author and creator Imperator3 from modgames.net

-This is also the first mod I've ever uploaded to anywhere. I'm pretty confident that I did this correctly, but if I did screw up somewhere kindly let me know so I can fix whatever.

Future plans:
-Make them craftable (probably with stuff like glass, dwemer ingot/metal, glowing mushroom, glow dust)
-Make some sort of quest to implement these in-game. (maybe complete with a mid-sized dwarven ruin to delve into a fetch crafting schematics?)
-Find some way to keep them glowing when you drop them out of your inventory. (This has been requested a couple times, and I'm not versed enough to figure out)

Credits/Shout outs!

-the ACTUAL author Imperator3 from www.modgames.net for creating this mod, and kindly letting me upload and share with SkyrimNexus!
-Bethesda for having such awesome game series!
-SkyrimNexus for showing me how much fun it is to modify games, I'm probably not switching back to console gaming ever, lol!
