These meshes and textures look slightly different. I haven't compared in game, but these ones seem like maybe they kind of glow and might be a bit translucent, the other ones did not but they looked like they had a higher poly mesh for the greater soul gem. I'm going to get this one right now and then compare the in-game models.
These are two different mods, and thurderan was the author of the original Skyrim version. The difference is that this mod uses an .esp and different mesh/texture paths, whereas my version uses no .esp and vanilla mesh/texture pathing. Both have a good reason to exist. For example, the .esp version will ensure that you get these models pretty much no matter what as long as it's loaded low in your load order. Mine comes with the advantage of not taking a plugin slot.
It's up to you guys which you'd prefer to use. As far as the models/textures, both should be the exact same since they're both using the very same mesh and textures created by InsanitySorrow.
Like he said, his is a replacer which wont take up a plugin slot which is great if you use lots of mods, mine will take up a slot but is easier to uninstall if you want to use other soul gem mods.
You should put up some in-game screenshots, so people can properly see what to expect. Static renders are often misleading due to lighting and whatnot.
