About this mod

If you're using Bijin Warmaidens and Immersive College of Winterhold together, Brelyna Maryon has a dark face.
This patch maintains the stat modifications that ICOW makes to the character and only permits the appearance values to step in front of the ICOW settings.

Quick 2021 update: Don't use this file. It seems, based on comments on this mod, that it doesn't work with the updated ICOW.
I'm actually not going to update this and instead point people to UCOW

Quickie description is: It's ICOW + OCOW rolled up into one (OCOW is like an alternate ICOW but this mods blends the two) and it comes with a TON of patches, including which - Bijin, Pandorables, RDO, anything of that nature that you guys would be using.

If you don't want to use UCOW, I won't be updating this mod but I'll direct you here instead:

This is kind of an oddball patch, but I'm sure there are at least some other people trying to use both mods together and Vortex doesn't pick up on the conflict.
I learned roughly how to use SSEEdit an hour before making this patch just so I can make this patch.

ICOW: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17004
Bijin: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/search/?BH=0 (This character is in the Warmaidens set)

ICOW introduces a number of stat changes but runs vanilla on the appearance settings. This patch resolves all those silent conflicts and gives you the best of both worlds.

EDIT: Just to be clear because I see some confusing posts in the comments.
Within the scope of ICOW and Bijin characters, afaik the only character that overlaps between the two mods is Brelyna. So if all of your Bijin characters are getting black face than it's probably another mod that's giving you trouble (That said, this patch will still fix this NPC, but only because it's addressing a specific problem). You'll know if this is the patch you need if this is your only black face npc while using ICOW and the Bijin models.
What this patch is addressing is ICOW's version of the character which grabs a bunch of vanilla values from Skyrim.esm and reposts them over other mods that are meant to make changes to them (Bijin in this case). Those vanilla values are only allowing the Bijin mod to make partial edits which results in black face. ICOW doesn't seem, from what I've seen so far, touch any other NPC that Bijin touches. This character is the overlap and the patch allows the 2 mods to run in tandem. There are no other Bijin characters to "include", the bug doesn't belong to one mod or the other - it's created by running both.
