How do the banners work?? After crafting the Imperial banner it just stays the little rolled up piece I can only pick up or drop it. What am I missing?
I've never been able to get the item moving/placement power of this mod to work. On the bright side, it doesn't seem to actually break anything either. Early on in the game, the furniture hammer is useful for its +5 smithing bonus. Later on. that will quickly become irrelevant.

Let me start over. First, I installed Placeable Statics - Move Anything, over a year ago. General Store vendors sold furniture. A couple of months ago, I installed Solitude Furniture Store. Since I wasn't using it, I uninstalled it.
Then, little by little, the General Store vendors stopped selling furniture (from Placeable Statics). I can't find where, but I read somewhere that blacksmiths were also supposed to sell furniture, but I've never seen them sell any.
How do I fix it, so that vendors start selling furniture again?

I installed a mod called Solitude Furniture store. Later, I uninstalled it, because I didn't use it. Then little by little the vendors around Skyrim stopped selling furniture. Also, when they were selling furniture, only the general store vendors sold furniture. However, I read somewhere that other vendors were supposed to be able to sell furniture.
Unfortunately if you have Hearthfire installed and want Proudspire manor to be your main house (which I do since I play Legacy of the Dragonborn and it's convenient) this mod makes it unusable. Ostensibly there's a patch but I sure can't seem to find it and it is not linked in the mod description or in the Mods requiring this file.
I like the concept of this mod. But I can't recommend it as it is for people who play with Hearthfire Installed.
Where is the HF patch??? I have been having serious problems with objects and furniture blocking doors and hallways because apparently this mod does not recognize HF rooms. Uninstall immediately, seriously man I'm not asking for compatibility with the greedy CC content, it's HF and this is 2024
I had been wondering that myself... gets mentioned and left for people to search for a needle in a haystack.
Q: Does this mod require Hearthfire? A: The main file does not, but the Optional Hearthfire patch does, which means if you want to craft furniture you'll need Hearthfire. If you don't want to craft furniture you'll be fine with the main file.
I uninstalled this mod because it put immovable bookshelves in the door way of Proudspire. Now it is showing >30,000 undefined elements in Resaver. Cleaning them causes CTD so guess I am leaving them for now...
I downloaded the mod and now the barrels in the game are all smooth and blue, almost similar to a more modern plastic barrel. Even after disabling and then uninstalling the mod the barrels are still blue. Anyone else have this who might now how to get rid of it? It isn't the worst thing ever but it definitely messes with the aesthetic to have these medieval cities in shades of brown with a scattering of bright blue barrels.
You lost textures for the barrels. I am not familiar with this mod, but that is what happened to you. It may for may not be this mods fault. You need to know your load order and what mods interact with what and where.
There's this trick where you drop a torch to the floor of your cellar, or other dark room. Then you exit the building, make a new save. Then reload the new save, then go back into the residence. When you get to where you dropped the torch, it is lit and providing lots of lighting.
When I first heard of this trick, at the time, the thing to do was to set the torches into bowls on the floor at the bottom of walls in rooms, hallways, stairways, etc. This would light up an entire space. However, I don't know if this trick works with candles and lanterns that you can pick up.
Thanks to Placeable Statics - Move Anything, the general store merchant sells various furnishings, including candles. When I place the candles, however, they are not lit. Lanterns can be placed, but they are unlit when picked up, and there doesn't seem to be a way to light them.
Has anyone figured out a way to light candles and lanterns that have been placed?
