The mod is under GPL v3. Basically you can do almost what you want with the assets. BUT ! If you were to modify them, they have to be under GPL too. This means if you do your own project that uses assets from this mod, it can't have closed permissions. It's fair enough.
Do whatever is needed to improve the mod. Do whatever is needed to create your own mod that's better than this one. Do whatever is needed to create a cool mod that's totally different but use this mod assets. If you achieve one of those thing, please be kind enough to notify me.
