Feels really nice to come back to Skyrim and seeing my little mod has received some love and attention. Thanks a lot for porting and maintaining <3 And for those hobby archaeologists, relic hunters and Guild Masters out there: There's something like this, but more extensive, coming your way soon.
Delighted to see this - makes having the fossils in the game so much more worthwhile. Just one little thing - your description page links to the Oldrim version.
Recent versions of Wrye Bash have started complaining about FossilMiningMapMarkers.esp (Version 1.1) as being an Unrecognized Version - any idea what that's about ? As far as I can tell everything is working fine so I'm not sure what its problem is, figured I'd ask here as well as the Wrye discord though.
[Edit] Moved to bugs, it's not Wrye Bash's doing. Reference from another mod with the same issue: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1441-soul-gems-differ-full-and-empty-by-utopolyst/page-18 , reply timestamped "10 June 2014 - 08:02 PM"
And it should be obvious, but I'll ask anyway: Do I need a fresh save or can I safely install it mid-game? Have just found a few fossils, but I really don't wanna start over again....

For Special Edition, it is here: Fossil Mining - with Legacy support
Thanks for a useful mod!
