    Please see this post I made a couple of months ago about this broken mod. Does anyone know what happened to AKcelsior? I made a fixed version. I'll gladly give it to the author to upload but I can't seem to get in contact.

      I discovered that the FOMOD was configured wrong so Vortex wouldn't install it (the readme file was set as a folder instead of file), and the esp file needed to be run through the CK as well.

      I agree. I’ve been testing this mod and I have not seen any change from which the author claims and no increase in performance either.

    Please update the mod to format 44 (CK64), otherwise it will always crash with a bashed patch.

      AKelsior you need to put this plugin (and the optionals) through the SSE Creation Kit and stop peoples games getting random CTDs they cannot figure out. Currently your mod is unfit for the game it is supposed to be for.

      Please do not just use xEdit to change the Header version to 44, the records formatting in the plugin needs to be changed with the CK, this job can not be done by any other tool.

      put this at end of load order, BOOM PROBLEM SOLVED, dont bash it, load it after bashed, ive always have and its never given me problems, and works perfect

      Or one could simply convert the mod... Like I did. It's a two seconds thing to fix.

    Is it safe to uninstall?

    I have a better card, so now I don't have the need to use this mod.
    Also, a lot of user report this mod is broken because it need an update

      This mod works by setting the mesh density of “removed” objects to 0 but does not actually remove them; they are still referenced by the game, but are not rendered. Although it has a plug-in, it does not run any scripts or add new assets to the game, so it can be safely removed to return to vanilla settings.

    In 2016 this mod used to work perfectly, now after two years I decided to reinstall Skyrim SE with all my mods and this one it seems needs an update. I remember this used to be installed with Nexus Mod Manager, but now that Vortex took over (about time) it cannot install it, plus a lot of users are reporting issues with the mod but perhaps is abandoned now?

    Can confirm this doesn't work with Vortex.
    Mod is broken and definitely needs an update.
