I've been testing this for quite a long time now. A little tip is to only point the controllers at the UI when you want to point and select. Otherwise, if you're using the thumbsticks, just point the controllers down and do that. Once you get used to it, this mod is extremely helpful to have.

Anyone else getting the issue where any bit of movement causes your cursor to jolt to the bottom of the inventory page? This happens regardless weather im pointing the controller at the page or not.

Yes, as soon as I move my right wrist, no matter if I'm pointing at the UI or not the selection jumps down to the bottom.

I'm sure you've already figured it out but for anyone else reading this, don't point the controller down, hover it over to the right (where the item model is) and it will stop jumping down to the last item.

    Hello,
thanks for the mod. This is a standard for me with VR. I have a urgent request: can you please make the mouse pointer work with Custom Favorites Menu (file "favoritesmenu.swf")? If I call it, there is no mouse. It take estimate 1 hour per day in sum to scroll through the menu everytime you change spell, weapon...

I'm pretty sure it's not possible because I tried a few things without luck, but I'll try again to see if I can find a way.

Absolutely loving this mod. Makes navigating inventory menus much better.

A few minor issues (that might just be Skyrim issues, not necessarily issues with this mod):
    - In the map menu, if I select an icon that you can fast travel to, but tell it "no", I can't select any other icons until I close and re-open the map. Only really a problem in areas where there's a lot of map icons near each other.
    - If the controller is pointing down off the menu in the inventory/loot menu of SkyUI, any movement seems to make the selector jump to the bottom-most item. Works fine if the controller is pointing sideways off the menu though.
    - In the system menu, the selection highlighter doesn't follow the cursor, but you can still select things in the menu. I recall this being an issue in Oldrim/SSE as well when using a mouse. Better Dialog Controls and Better Messagebox Controls seemed to resolve a lot of this in SSE for me, but I'm not sure if they're VR compatible or if they'd work in conjunction with this mod at all.

      - Yeah I'm gonna look into that when I have time.
      - This is not my doing unfortunately, it's how the mouse itself works. This mod just shows the mouse and sends click event, selector manipulation is not this mod's doing.
      - As you said, that is game's issue too (or skyuivr's?).

Seems to have some compatibility issues with double clicking. For example clicking quicksave with the mouse cursor causes weapons to be drawn (also using VRIK).

Particularly problematic with the mod Audiobooks of Skyrim, which shows a message box a few seconds after opening books, causing books to be picked up or stolen when trying to read them. Unlike with other parts of the UI pointing down is not a workaround and it doesn't show the mouse cursor.

There are wait time parameters in the ini you can increase more to prevent double clicking in the ui. This mod just checks if you pressed the button and sends a mouse click to the ui. But if the menu closes after you just clicked, it's you who is still holding the trigger for a few milliseconds more which causes the weapons to be drawn. This mod stops doing anything when menus are not open.

Also side note: This is skyrim, you shouldn't use Quicksave, they cause save corruption. Use only regular saves.

Message boxes are tricky. That's why I added WaitAfterMsgBox parameter to prevent any misclicks. Mouse don't work on message boxes, so you just use your regular buttons. You can increase that parameter more if you need.

This mod is great, but theirs a bug with the map. If you click on an icon for fast travel and select No, you can't select another icon. I''m forced to close the map and re-open it if I want to choose another icon/

    Everything else works 100% though

Well that's a very specific case, I'll look into it when I have time.

I had the same issue, could only open one dialogue before having to re-open the map. Cool mod otherwise :)

I might be the only one but I use the valve controllers and the scroll is complete crap when I saw this mod I was hoping to be able to click/grab the scroll bar and scroll up and down but for some reason, I can't now half of my items are unreachable is there a way to enable a way to click the scroll bar. but other than that the mod does fix about 90% of my problems with skyrim vr thanks

If skyui had wider scrollbars that would be easier (to click and grab the scrollbar), but it doesn't.

So in order to scroll, you need to move the mouse outside the ui (down, or far right etc.) and scroll like usual.

so are you saying that the scroll bars aren't clickable at all or that I'm not precise enough to click them?

They are clickable, but it's very hard because they are tiny. Maybe we can request from odie to make the scrolls wider.

Unsure if this is due to some kind of conflict or a configuration issue, but the pointers require me to angle my hand very unnaturally using the 2nd gen Oculus Touch controllers. It feels like the pointer was made to fit Vive or Index controllers. Is there a way to modify the angle that the arrow "points" at?

Maybe with game ini settings. This mod just shows the mouse arrow.

Great mod for Skyrim VR, many thanks for taking the time out to contribute this to the community and making everyone's experiences just that much better! I really like all of your mods so far - they all do such a wonderful job of enhancing VR gameplay.

Random question, but do you think this would somehow allow us to make use of those mods that require UI Extensions in Skyrim VR? Unfortunately it doesn’t look like that mod is getting updated for VR any time soon.

Thank you for this mod that solves so many annoyances with Using Skyrim in VR!

Is there an option I can add to the settings ini file that would register a right-click? Some mods, like "Immersive Jewlery" require a right-click in the inventory screen to switch a ring from the right to the left hand, is why I'm asking.

    Very much appreciated.

I wasn't able to manage that however someone made a mod that lets you select NPCs with a spell
