Now that Base Object Swapper is a thing, would it be possible to take this must-have classic up one final notch, and allow the gold version to be used only in the main Temple of the Eight in Solitude, and the regular version everywhere else? That'd be a nice little extra kick of flavour.
Might take a look at BOS and see if I could do it for my own game if I do get it working I could post the mod here so others could enjoy! with your permission of course!!
and the golden talos one could be where Elisef asks you to go put the amulet where the thalmor attack you. Like they had to remove that from the temple and they relocated it there.
If I recall correctly, if the Stormcloaks win the civil war, then the Talos statue in the Temple of the Divines is restored, but the one near Whiterun is still there, so I'm not sure that leap quite holds up.
These have been in my load order since forever, but only when I saw them in the loading screen could I really appreciate the details. Just astonishing work as always.
I'm sure at least 90% of the people that use this do it only for the shrine of Akatosh lol But don't get me wrong, they all look GREAT ! Thanks a lot johnskyrim ! :D Great work
