About this mod
An addition like the original Alteration Spell, Equilibrium, to the game. The Better Equilibrium Spell restores the caster's magicka at the cost of health and stamina points. Slightly more balanced versions, a hard version, or a cheat version available.

I never liked the Skyrim's original Equilibrium Spell. Its found in an out of the way area, is almost deadly early game and useless late game
which is when your more likely to find it. The original spell converted
25 health points to magicka points per second, and can kill the caster
if their health drained completely. I actually liked that it could kill
you so I didn't go out of my way to find a way around that.
My original version lowers the amount of health drain per second, adds in a
stamina drain, and lowers the magicka gained to be more in line with
the drains. Then I decided to make a second version, then a harder
version and a cheaty one as well.
This mod also fixed an issue I had with the original Equilibrium spell, which was the sound the spell
had, actually it was the sound the spell didn't have, my game's original
spell didn't have sound. But now it does, and it can still be found in
game, in case you wanted to use both.
Flavors
The original version of the Better Equilibrium spell will drain 15 points
of health, 5 points of stamina, and restore 20 points of magicka per
second. This spell will kill the caster if their health completely
drains.
The alternate version of the Better Equilibrium spell will drain 10 points of health, 10 points of stamina, and restore 20
points of magicka per second. This spell will kill the caster if their
health completely drains.
The second alternate version is the 'hard' version. This will drain the caster's health by 50 points and
drain their stamina by 10 but only restores 30 points of magicka per
second. This spell will kill the caster if their health completely
drains.
The cheat version just restores 50 points of magicka per second at no cost to the caster. But some poor soul in Tamriel will have
their magicka drained when you do this. Not really, but it was a funny
explanation that was semi-lore-friendly that I thought of while writing
the spell descriptions.

The Better Equilibrium Spell can be obtained in two places in game.
Installation
Please install only one flavor of the spell using a mod manager of your
choice. If more than one flavor is installed the lowest plugin will win,
as they add and edit the same files. FOMOD is up.

- Bought from Farengar in Dragonsreach.
- Found in Whiterun's Hall of the Dead Catacombs. It's on a table near where
Andur lost his Amulet of Arkay. This was the first place I could think of that isn't normally touched by other mods.
