About this mod

Causes you to slowly grow visually as you gain werewolf experience. Have your character appear as the juggernaut you are! Hopefully compatible with all werewolf mods.

Werewolf Growth

This mod makes the player appear larger based on the amount of werewolf experience you have gained since installing the mod (typically by feeding, but some mods may add ways or change how you get experience). Every time you get experience, you will grow slightly. Stand head and shoulders above the rest to show your status as a master werewolf!

Requirements

Skyrim Special Edition (obviously)
SKSE and SkyUI (not actually necessary, but you won't be able to customize the mod with the MCM otherwise)

Installation

Simply drop the files into your Data folder. You only need either the regular or esl version of the main file. The Random Werewolf Sizes addon can be used with or without the main file.

For uninstallation, remove the relevant files:
Werewolf Growth Reborn.esp
Werewolf Growth Reborn.esl
Werewolf Growth Reborn.bsa
Werewolf Growth Reborn.bsl

If you got the Randomize Werewolf Sizes addition:
Werewolf Growth - Random Werewolf Sizes.esl
Scripts\WGRRandomWolfSizes.pex
Source\Scripts\WGRRandomWolfSizes.psc

Versions Before 2.0

Install with your favorite mod manager, or simply drop the files into your Data folder. Install the patches for Moonlight Tales or Lupine if you have those mods.

If updating, it should be fine to simply overwrite all existing files. If you used the Moonlight Tales version from before, you will need to delete "Werewolf Growth MT.esp", as the current version is now a patch. You may want to clean your save before updating in that case.

To uninstall, remove with your mod manager or delete the following files:

Werewolf Growth.esp, Werewolf Growth MT Patch.esp, and Werewolf Growth Lupine Patch.esp, whichever ones you have
Data\Scripts\QF_0WG_HandleScaleQuest_05005901.pex
Data\Scripts\QF_0WG_MCMQuest_05005900.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_Feed.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_MCMScript.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_RandomSizeScript.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_ScaleChange.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_TrackBeastformScript.pex
Data\Scripts\WG_TransformScript.pex
Data\Source\Scripts\QF_0WG_HandleScaleQuest_05005901.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\QF_0WG_MCMQuest_05005900.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_Feed.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_MCMScript.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_RandomSizeScript.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_ScaleChange.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_TrackBeastformScript.psc
Data\Source\Scripts\WG_TransformScripts.psc

Regardless of which version you use, MAKE SURE you are not in werewolf form after uninstalling as you will remain at your increased size otherwise. If you have to, you can use "player.setscale 1" to revert back to normal size manually.

Customization

By default, you need to feed 100 times to reach max size. Maximum size is 50% larger than normal. However, you can customize this as you wish in the MCM.

Adjust Maximum XP to increase or decrease the amount of feedings to reach max size.
Adjust the Minimum and Maximum Scales to adjust how big or small your werewolf form can be. By default they are limited from 1-1.5, but you can go up to 10 and as low as 0.5 by disabling "Limit Size to Recommended." Be warned that larger scales can cause animation glitches when reverting back to human form and can make it hard to hit what you want and feed. It will also make you move faster and jump higher.
If, for whatever reason, you want to reset your XP, you can click the "Reset XP" button to return to 0 XP and your minimum size.

Werewolf Growth 1.1 adds two new options. "Randomize Wild Werewolves" allows you to make random (vanilla) werewolf spawns randomize their size, so you can encounter random werewolves in the wild. At the moment they can be anywhere from a 0.9 scale to a 1.5 scale. As of 2.0 this is no longer an option in the MCM and is now a separate addon which will always be active if installed.
"Size Buff" will allow you to gain an increase to your health, stamina, and damage based on your XP. There are 10 tiers of the effect for every 10% of XP you have.
Both of these are disabled by default.

FAQ

Will this make it harder to move around?
Other than your body occupying more of the camera space, it shouldn't. Due to limitations with how Skyrim's SetScale command works, changing the size of something doesn't actually adjust its collision. Anywhere you can normally move in werewolf form, you can move regardless of your size with this mod.

Is this compatible with other werewolf mods?
2.0 and higher: The mod has been rewritten in such a way that it SHOULD be compatible with most werewolf mods. I tested Moonlight Tales, Lupine, Growl, and Nightmare Night and it worked with all of them.

Pre-2.0: If it doesn't edit WerewolfChangeEffect and PlayerWerewolfVictimEffect, then most likely. The default version conflicts with Moonlight Tales and likely other large werewolf overhauls. I have made a Moonlight Tales and Lupine patch and may make a patch for other werewolf mods if requested.

Is this script heavy?
Nope, 2.0 uses more efficient events and has few scripts.

Can you make the transition smoother?
I tried, but it was very buggy, and even when smooth it was very janky.

Does this add any buffs?
You do move faster and jump higher due to how Skyrim calculates movement speed based on scale. Your attack hitbox will also be larger, but also slightly further away from your character. These won't make a significant difference if you keep your maximum scale to a recommended size. There is an optional buff in the MCM that you can enable, if you wish.
