    Guys If you experience any bug of clutter in the way or voids inside the castle, it is because You have mods overwriting the blue palace. Please let me know which mod you're using, so I can create the patches for them :)

    Possible Issues

    1 - Pelagius Door on the way
    Some people are getting pelagius wing door on the old spot while using an existing save. To fix that I placed an activator beside it, so you can disable the door and placing at the right place. If you get to need to do that,, dont forget to enable again before unistalling this mod :) Here's the activator location:

    2 - POTEMA'S QUEST WON'T START

    There's another thing that I have no idea why is happening... I havend changed the trigger that starts the quest but yet it doesn't. The only thing you need to do is wait 1 hour (it can be inside the castle) and the quest will start as it should.

    As I enter the blue palace there are 2 rooms which are bugged.
    Going left from the entrance just before the stairs down to the bath house the door on the right nothing loads there, i go in and i go through the floor and into the bath.
    The second bug is the entrance to the Pelagius Wing. The door is there and still locked but the wall around it is not there, i can walk straight through the nothing that is there. I dont have a single mod changing the blue palace, I have all of JK's mods apart from JK's whiterun/skyrim. I have a mod which changes interior and exterior of college of winterhold, winterhold rebuilt mods and alot of graphics mods that change the water the ground like dirt, stone etc, lighting mods and sky mods to change the night and day sky.

    Looks fantastic, can't wait to try it out. Do you intend to add an option to marry Elisif and live in the blue palace? After doing the wolf queen quest and winning the civil war, that might be a great option. No need to be high king, let her rule as queen and I'll keep my day job doing quests around skyrim :)

    A couple of issues you may want to look at the key in the war room is not in a player owned Strong box so must be stolen. You could just make the Strongbox player owned and no issue also the same with all the displays and items including the sword which I assume is for the player. Next it does 100 hundred base damage is it not able to be improved is this the reason for the high damage. The door to the war room counts as an entrance to the Palace so everyone wants to use this secret door which isn't a secret. Don't know if anything can be done about that. You may want to identify the player area and the area for each group, followers and children since I cant tell what's what. I assume the room with lots of beds are for the kids. but have no idea where the companions sleep much less myself unless I'm forced to marry the jarl and sleep with her to stay instead of a lover or just a Thane who stays close to protect the Jarl. I'm not one of those snobby Thanes that rubs it in your face commoner. ( Ercker) Hope for some info and maybe my suggestions will help. I will look for rooms with no ownership on the beds for companions and myself

    Thanks for the awesome mod, really makes the place feel like a palace. I downloaded the ELFX patch and noticed in xEdit that there is an edit to a NavMesh at Riverwood Bridge. Was wondering if this is intentional or not, as I didn't see it mentioned anywhere else in the posts. Thanks!

    This is a huge improvement on the vanilla palace. I have one request though.

    Would it be possible to upload a version that doe NOT include the door to the docks (Or the stairwell and door in the treasure room)?

    There are a few reasons for this.
    1. It isn't properly compatible with Solitude docks mods (the one I'm using at least, which is Enhanced Solitude Docks).
    2. NPCs seem to be using the door. I found Vittoria Vicci just stood in the stairwell. Also I've seen guards walking up from the docks this way also.
    3. From a security/design point of view, it doesn't really make sense to have an escape route/infiltration point right next to all of Solitude's riches.
    4. The docks door is simply miles away from the Blue Palace. There would have to be a whole system of snaking tunnels under the city to get from the docks to that stairwell.

    That said though, I do really like the mod! Nice work.

    This is the first Blue Palace Overhaul that I really like. Thanks for your great work. But I have a question: the water in the basement pool is static. Am I doing something wrong?

      I'm not an expert but I think this has to do with whether or not the cell is flagged as 'has water'. If the pool water is static for you it most likely means you have another mod overwriting the Blue Palace cell's water data and you will need to either move this mod below it in your load order or add the 'has water' flag to the cell record of the mod that is overwriting it.

      Do you have SSEEdit installed? If so, you can expand the Blue palace cell to see which mod is overwriting it and then drag and drop the 'has water' flag from this mod's cell data to the other :)

    AI seem to be unable to pathfind outside of the palace when they try to leave, they all move into a corner, i noticed my quest marker was under the ground and inaccessible right by the corner so it seems the AI is trying to exit the cell with a inaccessible door and therefore get stuck pathing. Seems very similar to the issue with palagius wing door which i needed to disable, perhaps another leftover door needs a disable marker? or maybe it can be moved? i may experiment with it more.

    Also i found the beds on one of the rooms (the one with alot of smaller beds) was free to use which was nice but also kinda op in survival mode and makes the winking skeever pointless. just a heads up. Great mod though otherwise, now the palace has the decor to match its beautiful architecture style.

      Did you end up figuring out the issue with npc pathing? I'm having the same problem (but otherwise fantastic mod!).

      yes the mod adds a corridor with a exit (maybe its normally there idk) that goes directly to the docks but a locked hidden door in a wardrobe prevents access to the corridor. AI pathing seems to prioritize this unreachable door and thus gets stuck standing above it.

      I have not tried but i suspect using a console command to lock the actual door to the docks itself may fix this problem. Go through the secret wardrobe door with console commands (tcl should work) then click the door that "opens to skyrim" with the console pulled up and enter the command "lock 100" to lock it at a master level. Im pretty sure AI won't attempt to use it if its locked although i have not tested it yet. A more extreme approach may be to outright disable the door although i wouldn't suggest that.

      Great thanks for your reply! I was thinking about removing the corridor and docks door completely but I think it's a nice touch so was trying to avoid doing that. I'll take your advice and try putting a master lock on the door in xedit and test it out, will report back with my findings! :D

      So I tried a master lock on the door but unfortunately npcs just fling it open as though they were master thieves! (stoopid Varnius Junius lol)

      I wonder if it's something related to navmesh? I'm definitely not an expert on that by any means though!

      I ended up using the treasure room key to open all the doors so at least they can leave the palace instead of standing around in the corner of the dining room for all eternity :D

      Hey Guys, sorry for late response! I haven't noticed this bug before because I haven't got to this part yet. If you wanna try it, tag the door at the rom as "ignored by sandbox on tes4edit... I believe he is going to use the main door...

      Hi Dovahkiinathay! Thanks for the reply and the fantastic mod!

      I tried flagging as ignored by sandbox but Varnius is still being a derp and refusing to use the front door (although it may be me that's the derp because I'm only a novice level modder). It's all good though, if Elisif is okay with him taking a shortcut through the treasure room then so am I!

      Just wanted to add that this is by far my favourite overhaul of the Blue Palace, you have my thanks and admiration!

    I married Elisif (Console).
    But I can't sleep in the double bed.
    What is wrong or what have I done wrong?
