MOD UPDATED with 10 new textures! Now the fur more realistic and voluminous!

From the very beginning of the game, I did not really like the heavy horses of Skyrim, although this choice of developers was clear and obvious for me. I always liked horses from Oblivion, their light bodies and difference in characteristics and price. I wanted to see the same thing in my ideal Skyrim. That’s why, as soon as my skills and knowledge allowed me to make horses the way I want, I decided to do it.
It turned out pretty well =) I hope you enjoy it too!

“Light Horses” mod does NOT REPLACE a single model in the game, but ADDS 5 new horses of 10 different fur colors, which you can buy in
Rorikstead stable.

This mod can be installed at any stage of the game and works with any number of player’s horses (vanilla or from other mods).

Light body – is a mesh that I made based on vanilla horse with the same topology, so it works great with vanilla skeleton and animations.

Textures from this mod work ONLY with this mesh, because have unique UVs.

I combined the Imperial bridle with the Nordic saddle and slightly corrected the mesh, so the horse harness is also unique to this mod.

Light horses have unique characteristics of speed, stamina and health.

Features and compatibility.

Light horses are located in a small stable in the Rorikstead (directly behind the Frostfruit Inn). Buying is possible through dialogue with Bob.
As in Oblivion, the slowest horse costs the least.

There are 2 texture packs: basic and alternative. Only one pack can be used at a time.

Basic pack:
Overo chestnut - has great stamina, but rather slow horse - 1000 gold
Red bay - does not differ in speed from Appaloosa, but has more health - 2000 gold
Palomino - has the characteristics of a vanilla horse - 3000gold
Dark bay - fast horse, but has the lack of stamina - 4000gold
Dapple gray - the fastest and weakest horse in the game - 5000gold

The last two breeds also have a slightly reduced amount of health.

Alternative pack:
Red roan - has great stamina, but rather slow horse - 1000 gold
Piebald black - does not differ in speed from Appaloosa, but has more health - 2000 gold
Flea bitten - has the characteristics of a vanilla horse - 3000gold
Light buckskin - fast horse, but has the lack of stamina - 4000gold
Sooty buckskin - the fastest and weakest horse in the game - 5000gold

The last two breeds also have a slightly reduced amount of health.
Possible problems.

You can buy any of the horses as well as in the stables of Skyrim, but Bob will say “You could if I had one. Sold my last available horse to someone that looked an awful lot like you” only after buying Appaloosa. This does not mean you cannot buy other horses, but may be embarrass a little. If anyone knows how to fix this through the CK, I will gladly make these changes =)

Due to the inability to test the mod on other computers, please inform me of all errors, I'll try to do my best! I will also be glad of any help and collaboration offers!
