    Updated the mod, fixed quest bugs everything worked fine on the playthrough I did to test only exception would be when you first go to train with Vilkas he attacked me the moment I stepped outside Jorrvaskr but everything still worked fine.

    I added Profail's Underforge from Le to this mod (cleaned it etc)

    Lot's of navmesh fixes, deleted the old Chaurus area and made a new version. Deleted the old stairs on the first floor replaced them with ladder like stairs you can see through which makes it feel less cramped. and a couple other minor things unlocked a door added a book fixed some spelling added a few weapon racks.

    About the water in the spa and in the fish pool. I can't figure out how to add water in a shape other than square unless I use obscure assets like the hotpools water for example. If someone can point me to a good guide that covers this I would be grateful otherwise I cannot fix the water.

    what I will and won't be doing for this mod:
    I'm not gonna make a stripped down or inside only version, if someone makes one and wants to post it they have my permission.

    I will be making aventus arentino into a youngling that comes and stays to live and train with the companions.
    I will be cleaning this of dirty edits which I forgot to do but its always good practice to do it yourself as a modder.

    I'm always curious as to what ideas or suggestions y'all have so please keep them coming! As you can tell almost all of the changes in 4.0 come directly from the comments section that you guys leave, thank you.

    ps expect more from me over the next 3 weeks my other mods will be updated and other projects i've been working on will be uploaded as well.

    HELLLOOOOO!!!

    So what is going on with DMT and his mods??? 

    TL:DR - I'm a Skyrim - O - Holic, been playing and modding for years and plan on doing it for years to come.  All of my mods will continue to be
    updated.


    So where are all the updates at?  Theyr'e coming here's whats up...

    Why the wait?  I have a very creative mind, when I get an idea in my head I gotta get it out while my creative juices are flowing.  The creation
    kit (CK) is a very finicky b!tch.  It took me 3 hours to figure out how  to download the CK through bethesda net (hint it's not on bethnet, you
    gotta open the launcher) and that was just my first time waving at the girl. One night it was just me and the CK and I wanted a nicely light
    SkyHaven Temple... 5 hours of watching a tutorial and fighting with the CK later I figured out how to turn a light on or off... only took 5
    hours to turn a light on... 5 hours... to turn on a light... kill me now/s.

    With all the fun Ck and I have together it's important to me to switch projects frequently to avoid burnout.

    The Nexus community can be toxic!!!  No, probably not you if you are reading this but I guarantee you've noticed nexus is becoming a den of
    pervs, which wasn't entirely unacceptable at first... It was like a mechanic shop that had some swimsuit posters at first, but now its
    fuc*!ng Larry Flint's vacation home now.  With the degradation of women comes the degradation of yourself.  Nexus has attracted some of the
    scummiest people on the internet and those asshats are very entitled demanding and rude.  They alone killed my motivation to work on my
    blackreach mod.

    With that said it's another reason why I bounce from project to project so often, it helps me distance myself from those special people.

    What do I have lined up for 2021???

    More of my extreme overhauls!  I really enjoy making my extreme mods they relax me and scratch my creative itch.  I've got a couple locations that
    will be extremified, ideas for more are always welcome.

    Morthal Kombat!  A killer fist fighting mod that you'll love

    DMTweaks - A rather large mod that can replace over 100 other mods in your load order. (some of you may have seen this a few years ago)

    and finally.... what will be getting an update???

    Northern Encounters - Got some great info on what needs compatibility patching
    Brides of Alduin - gonna put collision on the dragon perches and probably lower the damage make perk points a tad harder to get.
    EPSTEIN DIDNT KILL HIMSELF -   I now have an audio clip of MXR saying the guard line so Imma put mxr's voice acting into my mod.
    Armonizer - I have a bunch of minor issues that have been building up that need squashing and I have like 50 or so new armors to add as well.
    Witcher armor - I was given perms for this a long time ago and still haven't gotten to do anything with it yet.
    Orsinium - Has blanket open perms but I was also given special perms to run with it so this may be a thing. 
    Epic Mercanaries - a few minor bugs
    Paint it Blackreach - is gonna be rebuilt completely from the ground up. I'm burning her down so I can rebuild.
    ADGTS v3 - got a few more dog breeds I'll add for a xmas update
    Underwater combat - have a compatibility version I need to release.

    I'm gonna be here for many years to come, if you see my name next to a mod you can know that it will always get updated... eventually lol.

    If you ever revisit this mod, you could rename the jousting NPC's Sir Boris and Sir Morris as an inside joke for anyone who watched The Big Knights on BBC back in the day. And the funny part about me suggesting this is that I'm American. :)

    Hi!

    This is an FYI to all modmakers and the maker of this mod.

    The horses don't just fly around, they can also cause performance issues. As a rule of thumb, don't put horses inside holds. There's a reason Bethesda prevented you from bringing your horse inside holds and why they made the cities separate from the game world in the first place. Horses hate being inside cities and it'll cause them to "think" a LOT, and take up valuable resources the game needs.

    Interior only version?
    Hello, I understand this isn't compatible with Whiterun Capital Expansion and if you don't want to make a compatibility patch that's 100% okay. I was hoping if that were the case you'd be willing to release an interior only version of this mod since I still really want to use this mod, more for the interior than exterior. The vanilla interior is, well... What it needs to be, but I want to use something great like your mod. I saw your last message on this thread was from last year and the last update was released in 2020 so I hope you're still active and have motivation for this mod.

    EDIT: I just saw this in the description. A post on reddit said this was not compatable with Whiterun Capital Expansion. There's a post on Reddit saying this mod is not compatible with it. I'm going to try installing this now. Thank you.
    ...?is compatible with jk's , dawn of sky, Immersive Citizens, whiterun market, whiterun expansion and many others.

    EDIT 2: After trying this out, it is NOT compatible with Capital Whiterun Expansion. It has bad clipping which causes occlusion flashing.

      If you're already using a bunch of Whiterun overhauls and can't deal with the conflicts, but want to keep some cool sh*t from this mod, just delete everything outside of the interior changes in xEdit and it's compatible with everything. If you use another Jorrvaskr mod (e.g., This Is Jorrvaskr) and want to keep this mod's NPCs and their packages (so the new NPCs walk around Whiterun), just delete everything except the new NPCs, the packages, and any cell and/or worldspace entries in perm/temp placing the NPCs anywhere. Then you'll have all the new Jorrvaskr NPCs sandboxing and jousting and generally being uber-cool. This is a great mod, truly deserves some more love.

     5-03-2022_A solution I have discovered for anyone who reads this post of mine (Problems continuing After 4.0 mod update), if you simply wait until after the companion's main quest to enable this wonderful Mod, it seems to eliminate main quest bugs. Maybe this should be mentioned in the description section. To reiterate (Worked for me anyway), If you are experiencing main quest problems, simply wait to enable this mod until after the main quests (After you're a werewolf). 
     When I disabled this mod and went back into my playthrough, my main quest for the Companion's worked fine, when I was done with the Silverhand revenge quest I re-enabled this mod, because it's worth keeping,  goodluck.  To the Author, thank you for this mod I love it!

    Really happy with this mod - especially now I have patched it up
    1) all the old NPCs patched to their relevant appearance mods
    2) all the new NPCs got High Poly head and KS Hair patched
    3) removed all the helmets and hoods from the outfits (made copies of the outfits and removed the headgear) - I don't think helmets are appropriate for "casual" wear, or sleeping lol - might do a set of sleep wear for them all. Sleeping in plate armour has got to be uncomfortable. - Edit - as the bethesda sleep outfit mechanism doesn't work, just installed "Sleep Tight" instead. Still got rid of the helmets.
    4) patched my Jorrvaskr based follower mods to use the new packages - so instead of just waiting in the main hall they now roam inside and out, eat, train and use the beds.
    5) Made Jotun into a merchant using Belethor's stock (also an Innkeeper, as I have another mod that makes innkeepers hold a satchel that can be accessed at any other inn, and you can put an NPC in your house to do the same - means you can drop off loot etc anywhere) Jorrvaskr is now a one-stop shop! I now get offered a drink and a bed when I enter
    6) WIP - going to do something about Bo Agrius' weapon - that Giant Club is longer than he is tall, and thicker than his head - funny the first time. Not sure if I can scale it to about 50%. - found a mod weapon that is a very large two handed spiked club, and adjusted the model paths to use its nifs.

    Ps - I can make a copy of this patch without 1) as that will depend on your own mod choices if anyone wants it. It would require HP Head and KS Hair. (not the Bo Agrius club either - it is another mods nif)

      Here is a cut down version of my mod that edits the added NPCs from this mod - this will last only 30 days https://ufile.io/ahbl44rc 
      Changes include
      1) removes helms/head cover from NPCs
      2) makes them essential (I took one out as a follower and she died to the very first attack by an NPC)
      3) cosmetic changes to Gwen Grey-Mane - no scar and she's got two operating eyes now
      4) HP Head on all, KS hair on females. Both mods are requirements as this is only an esp with no assets.
      5) Jotun has innkeeper and merchant faction - innkeeper seems to work fine but merchant a bit iffy.

      Required masters are all DLCs, this mod, KS Hairdos and High Poly Head (off- Nexus site mod)

      I have mine edited to restore my Northborn/Bijin/Pandorables/Kalilies/Lamakreis etc appearances to the other NPCs, but as that is dependent on individual mod lists, you will need to do that yourself.

      It is also dead easy to copy the NPC records from any followers that start in Jorrvaskr and copy in the behaviour packages from this mod, so instead of sitting in the main hall all day they use beds, eat, go out and train and even sandbox in the market and Bannered Mare.

    Is there a lite version that removes the jousting, extending the walls, and the pond or removes all exterior edits? It conflicts with the added exterior by jk's bannered mare. the floating stables in the jousting area annoys my view, the cliff added by the mod blocks the waterway with jk's skyrim, and npcs clipping inside the pond.

      But I would like to clarify since the OP left this a lil vague. The issues he is reporting are only from conflicts with other mods, they are not from my mod, my mod runs as intended.

      Please please please make this mod more compatible with other mods.  You have created a masterpiece but its really not compatible with the other great Whiterun mods.  As the poster above said the main part that conflicts with other mods is the stable area ect.  It can be removed and this would work beautifully with other mods like Capital Whiterun expansion. 

      Either that or if its at all possible PLEASSSSEEE make some patches for some of the winterhold mods.  Your work is too amazing to just not have the compatibility for it.  Its pretty much already very compatible as it except for just a few places.  I noticed some of the fencing gets a little screwed up and the area with the horses and stables just takes out huge swatches of capital whiterun expansion.  Frankly even if you deleted some swatches of the expansion it would not be a huge deal nothing majorly important there. 

      I know you are probably busy creating more amazing stuff but man would it make my xmas great to get a patch for this.

      right now I am running Capital whiterun expansion, Valley hold expansion(exterior version), illustrious whiterun 8k, and fortified whiterun and they just make whiterun gorgeous.  Your mod would be like the finishing touch for this mod combo!!!  I can literally pay you and subscribe to ur patreon to support future work to somehow make this combo work properly with your mod!! Anyway thanks for all ur creations!!

    I may be a bit thick here .... How do I start the quest found the letter and searched around in the north west???

      access to the underforge, there you will find a chest with a key for
      circle members.
      One locked door will only be opened after you complete an unmarked quest to kill a vampire, look in Skjor's room."

      The quest is not marked.  Meaning I don't know how to make quests :( I wish I did... So my workaround is to simply leave hints/clues/notes for the player to find reminiscent of Morrowind.  Nothing will show up in your journal but it's still a quest in the manner of: if you don't do it, you won't get the rewards.

      I'll give you a hint as to the Vampire you need to kill is a member of a famous coven of vampires.  As an ex member of the Companions she possibly knows too much about the "inner" workings of the companions.  Her threat must be ended.  (google ex companion members)
