Scrolls are expensive but stack with fleshy spells. Enchantments are not very strong but they take slots. Playing as a mage now will be much more satisfying.
I did it for myself but since I wasnt meeting my deadline with other mod so I just released this :)

Enchantments use same keyword as Fortify Health, so if you play with vanilla perks its covered by Corpus Enchanter perk, if you use ordinator or something - they probably covered by something too.

How to use: extract to Data folder then enable plugin. There is new dark elf NPC in Riverwood, she is essential and sell stuff.

TLDR why it is a good idea:
The armor in Skyrim is % based, but displayed as something other. Each armor point in vanilla game is equal to 0.12% damage resist. The
more you have - the more worth of each %, the less you have - the smaller impact it has. Like going up by 20% from zero wont help you much, but from 60% to 80% it will reduce damage twice.

71 point per item is like 8.52% damage resist(DR).
180 points from top grade scroll is 21.6% DR.
300 points from Ebonyflesh + 3 lvl Mage Armor is 36% DR
50 from lord stone is 6% DR.


If you wear ARMOR (not clothing, which means no Mage Armor) then you'll have some hidden armor rating but it is also small - 100(12% DR) for whole set without shield.


It seems neither armor alone nor Ebonyflesh spell + mage armor perks + lord stone cant get damage reduction high enough for mage to feel a difference, leavingsmithing as the only option, which I totally avoid for immersion sake and dislike. So I made this mod, and now you can be closer to 80% damage resist with no smithing. Numbers above should help.

Short info:
In vanilla game with 100 enchanting skill + all perks and +35% enchanting potion you end up with 71 magnitude per item. Almost any wearing piece can be enchanted.

Scrolls are scarce, all have 60s duration (90 with stability perk and may be more with alteration potions), magnitudes are: 100, 140, 180.

No vanilla leveled ists are touched - the vendor is the only source.
