A very simple mod that converts all clothing into 'light armor' and adds a small amount of armor rating. This allows mages (or anyone who wants to wear robes/clothes) the ability to make use of the light armor skill tree for their apparel.

There's also an optional file that makes the alteration perk 'mage armor' work with all light armor.

Clothing has been buffed to 10 armor rating for chest pieces and 5 for boots, gloves, hats and hoods (both at level 15 light armor respectively). The only exceptions are things like the Shrouded Robes, which by default had an armor rating exceeding those values. In those cases, I've left the armor rating the same as vanilla.

The armor rating will improve with your light armor level, perks like agile defender will also increase your armor rating.

This mod does not convert jewelry, but it does convert circlets.

This mod should work with almost all other mods. It'll convert (most) re-textures of vanilla clothing, but will not convert standalone mod clothing.

The optional file will likely conflict with any mods that alter the 'mage armor' perk or its relevant spells.
