    Hey, so I did a little digging into the Molag Bal shrine situation for the cathedral. And by little, I mean I opened SSEEdit and just clicked a few buttons.

    As far as I can figure out, it has a flag state that toggles the enabled state to opposite the given state, which may be why it disappears upon completion of Dawnguard(at least for me) before reappearing on cleanup despite choosing Dawnguard.

    It seems like it really is just a case of a script, toggle, or something(I know jack all about this stuff, forgive my terms) that is causing it to start disabled upon quest completion, then reenable on cleanup. I tried making myself a patch to deal with this, but LOOT told me it got a cyclical error.

    I would be fine with just reducing the shrine’s size so Mara’s statue covers it up, but the water ambience noise is a separate item in the list, with the same flag toggle.

    Thought I’d try to make this knowledge a bit more available to those who want to use this mod, and may have more experience in creating patches.

    Question, I've cleaned up the entire castle as far as I can tell, but I don't see any activator for the courtyard itself, there's still just a bunch of rubble lying around even after I've fixed the passage and cleaned everything all the way until Valerica's study, so am I blind? Or is that just normal and the courtyard stays with a little bit of rubble anyways? Just asking to make sure I've done all I can or if I'm actually somehow missing something

      Just answered this question for someone else, but here you go.

      When you enter the courtyard via the keep, stay on that balcony. Hug the wall to your left as you approach the small pile of debris extending from the wall. Your marker is the large pillar. To get to it, you need to hug the wall and step onto the debris pile, while looking at the pillar. Weirdly placed, but at least it’s physically accessible.

    The Courtyard doesn't seem to be fixable. There's no interactable pile of rubble. I think I found the pile that's supposed to be used, between the moondial and the little garden, but there's no prompt to interact with it. If that's not the correct pile, then I'm not sure where the correct one is. I also don't see a way to clean up Valerica's Study (where the entrance to the Soul Cairn is), or the outside area where the entrance to the Undercroft is. I'm playing on Xbox, if that makes a difference.

      Hey, I had to search up a video just a couple of days ago.

      when you enter the courtyard via the Keep, stay on that small balcony, move to your left along the wall. In this case it’s a bit weirdly placed. The large pillar that’s extending out of the wall is where the marker is. To reach it, you need to stand on the pile of debris beneath it. To do that, hug the wall as you move there.

    i liked this mod alot but the author made it a must to upgrade to newer version, but i cannot as so many of my 1500 mods will stop working and also i would have to remake my character from scratch, can there be a patch to make the esp not dependent on the CC content for earlier game players ?

    Having an issue where I went with the Dawnguard but still have the Molag Bal shrine in the main hall and have both the Molag Bal and Dibella at the same time.

    Also love the mod but I wish the bedroom part was larger as when compared to everything else it feels like it was shoved into a storage room and not a majestic bedroom for the owner of a castle.

    Would also be nice to have a choice as to who you want in the castle regardless of which side your on as even though I sided with Dawnguard I dont want them living in my castle since I am a vampire...  Maybe Dwemer constructs as a third choice, especially with how much Serena is festinated with them when using the Serena Dialog Overhaul.

      I have the same issue, once i cleaned all the rubbish, its a merge of Mara and Molag Bal in the cathedral. Its not pretty XD
      Ive tried disableling, nothing. Tried markfordelete, save and load, still there.
      Playing AE version now, was on SE before with same issue.

  6. Dawnguard NPCs in castle ATTACK ME ON SIGHT WHEN I'M NO VAMPIRE.
    1. the reason seems to be a 40-cep bounty in solitude. due to the dawnguard npcs placed in castle volk belong to Solitude Crime Faction and they have city-guard ai WITHOUT PROPER BOUNTY-PAY-REQUEST dialogs, player WILL be considered as arrest-refusal and BE ENGAGED ON SIGHT.

      Then you need to go clear that bounty or it'll just keep happening.

    So some bugs to report. The 6 mannequin are all moving in an idle standing position. Also I can't interact with them. The Molag bal warshipper's boot, gloves and robs (no hood) don't seem to have a menu icon, there just invisible. This in in the masters throne wing I assume in the master bedroom.

    This is all I got sofare. I'll add more as I find them.

    Granted I'm still using version 2.0.6 that I had from a while back (because I'm still on 1.5.97), but like others have reported after cleaning up the courtyard, the door stays rubble, so it doesn't connect back to the main hall.  Is there any known fix for this? Any console commands I can run?

    issues where followers gettin stuck at the door in undercroft, like they cant open the door from the inside ...

    @Arthmoor Hello there. Are there any specific changes in USSEP 4.3.2+ and Skyrim 1.6.1130+ itself that would prevent Castle Volkihar Rebuilt from being played on SSE 1.5.97, aside from the four free Creation Club DLCs as master files? I'm not asking for a previous version of the CVR mod, I'm wondering what the differences would be out of curiosity.
