I really like this idea, I have a question tough could you give him a sachel or a backpack or both like the ones in the mods bandoliers of skyrim or wet and cold or campfire to make him look like he is indeed carrying things?
Hey great mod! I wanted to ask though what you might think about giving him a backpack of some sort for him to carry all of his deliveries in? No big deal either way. Just a thought.
Attempted to give him a high poly head and I'm waiting in game for a delivery or letter to see if it worked, I will report back here on whether or not it did!
Mod looks good and I was going to install this but then it occurred to me the default game more or less has it right. Historically, Couriers were lightly dressed, wiry, wore almost no armour for speed. This also enabled them to dodge, avoid or go around any potential problems quick. They may carry a dagger for absolute emergencies, but that was it. The point was to get the message through, not fight which uses up time, energy and might get them hurt; all not helping the business.
The only real changes I would make to a courier would be to make him even lighter as in no armour at all and just a light cloak against the cold (running will keep him warm), younger and give him a dagger to go with his bag of messages, and a small pouch for vittles maybe, that's it.

edit: I moved this mod down to the bottom of my load order and it is working correctly now!
