This mod adds a summonable undead skeletal horse for you to ride.


This mod was inspired by the mod Spectral Horses by jet4571.

The tome to purchase this mount may be sold by most court wizards or randomly found in the world.
There is a guaranteed tome that can be stolen from the Riverwood Trader.

The mount has slightly higher health and stamina than Shadowmere.

After reading the tome, you will get a Summon Spectral Horse spell
You will be able to summon your new mount for 30 seconds.

The mount will vanish after 30 seconds unless it is being ridden.
Once you dismount, the horse will vanish.
Do not attempt to remount while the Spectral Horse is returning to Oblivion.

Installation:

I recommend using a mod manager like Vortex.

Manual installation:
Extract the compressed file into your Skyrim SE Data directory.

Convenient Horses: Convenient Horses settings will override Spectral Horse abilities (e.g. speed and endurance) and saddle if loaded after Spectral Horse.  This will also allow you to change your saddle equipment and use the saddle bags.
The Horse Call will summon your Spectral Horse from Oblivion if you would rather use that over the ritual summon spell.

If you do not want Convenient Horses managing your Spectral Horse, place Spectral Horse.esp below Convenient Horses.esp in your load order.

Known Issues:

You will instantly crash to the desktop (CTD) if you try to mount while your Spectral Horse is unsummoning.
Please don't do this.
