About this mod

Have you ever wondered why the standard level 1 "Bandit" does almost no damage and dies in just one hit even to a lower level player character?
This is because in the vanilla game they only got 35 Health and they have a perk that halves their damage done.

The goal of this mod ist to bring them more in line with a level 1 player character. This should make them more relevant until later into the game.

I went through the templates for all tier 1 humanoid and draugr Actors and increased their health pools. Higher levels of these enemies have also been slightly changed if their health ended up to be lower than the previous tier.

Common Bandits are now roughly as strong as their higher level brothers and sisters, the Bandit Outlaw. The Outlaw has slightly more health and only does more damage if he uses a better weapon. The differences to the 3rd and higher tiers remain unchanged.

This mod focuses on enhancing the combat against lower level enemies by making them suck less early and scale a bit better into higher player levels. If you want more challanging gameplay against high level enemies, check out  High Level Enemies by Dalquist.

This will make combat for new characters more difficult in the early levels. This is especially true if you are using any kind of Combat mod that increases difficulty. Be prepared.

Changes:

- removed the -50% Damage perk from Bandits
- increased the health value of low level humanoid and draugr enemies to around 100 (changed Bandits, Draugr, Alikr, Afflicted, Foresworn, Warlocks, Reaver, Vampires)
- also increased the health of higher tier enemies slightly if their Health ended up to be lower then the previous tier
- increased the minimum level of imperial and stormcloak soldiers. They should now be a bit more powerful from the start.
- increased health of skeletons from 20 to 70, this also raises the health summoned versions by 50
- increased health for wolves and skeever, you won't oneshot them from the start of the game

Compatibility:

- Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch ist compatible and highly recommended. Fixes of USSEP to affected actors have been merged with my records
- Combat Mods like Wildcat and Smilodon are compatible and recommended
- This should be compatible with any mod that does not alter the Actor Templates for Bandits, Draugr, Foresworn, Warlocks, Afflicted, Alikr, Reaver
- This will conflict with every mod that alter the stats of one of the affected enemy types

Recommended Mods:

- Smilodon by Enai Siaion: improves combat AI, increases lethality and adds more depth to combat
