I love your mod. It makes the cities wonderful. I am wondering if there will be a patch for the new version of Legacy of the Dragonborn? There are a few trees that are floating in the stairs/entrance to the museum. Thank you!
I edited the .esp and removed all trees and ferns that interfere with LOTD V5. Cant share this since the file is the actual mod which I don't own. But feel free to the same with your own file. Use TES5Edit and simply remove the following objects from the esp. This is old, but just in case someone comes up on this like I did - the last three lines from Conman588's fix above you don't actually remove since they're from Skyrim esm. You just copy the esm column over the Beautiful Cities esp column to overwrite them.
LOOT is telling me this mod has 243 ITMs, and 22 deleted references.
Is this something I need to clean? (Skyrim SE 1.6.640)

Should pretty much go without saying, but there's very limited compatibility with this mod and the holy city overhaul trifecta of JK's Skyrim, Expanded Cities and Towns, and Dawn of Skyrim (aka Blues Skyrim), especially with regards to Whiterun. Many of the added trees and plants compete for the same spaces that the assets in those mods do, with trees sticking up out of vendor carts awkwardly.
Would love to eventually see a version of this mod that takes those three above mods into account and simply repositions some of the added plant life to mesh with them a bit better. A version that does that would offer a bit more compatible flexibility for people looking to add a bit more nature to their cities without conflicting with all the new shops and vendors the other overhauls add. Basically a "extra green" add on for the above overhauls for those that just really like the idea of nature meshing with civilization in Skyrim.
I know this is an older post, but just an FYI to anyone who comes looking...
x360Flipx has given me permission and I am currently working on a JK's Skyrim compatible version. It's mostly done and hopefully will be out within a week. Just doing some final cleanup and testing.
Edit - JK compatible version has been completed and posted.
I just need to know if you can provide lod for the trees? beautiful addition to whiterun but the trees at the from just pops out of nowhere..minimal issue but still quite important :)
Thank you for this mod. I like how simple and effective the tree placements are. Not too intrusive, but definitely make the city prettier. A common complaint I see people have regarding seeing trees in Whiterun is that it is a city in tundra area so there shouldn't be trees. Well, to be fair, people can plant and water these trees themselves. If people can build houses they should be able to plant trees. As long as they are the right kind of trees.

Just discovered that myself during a pre-merge check. For anyone else, standard cleaning process seems to be the way to go here.
0.) Backup "Beautiful Cities.esp" 1.) Open only "Beautiful Cities.esp" in SSEEdit 2.) Apply filter for Cleaning 3.) Right click Beautiful Cities, Remove "Identical to Master" records 4.) Right click Beautiful Cities, Undelete and Disable References
same question. Being in the middle of a tundra I felt whiterun was a little overdone. It is beautiful and all but could be made just as nice with plants and grasses native to the area without changing the feel of the place.
I'd think you can easily remove all but the cities you'd like to have using SSEEdit. Do this for each city. This will give you each city in a separate file. This is what I am going to do for my game.
I would also love this. For example I really love what this mod does to Riften but it's incompatible with some other mods I use in Whiterun so I would love the Riften changes but not the Whiterun changes.

I know how to modify a mod via the xEdit, but how to SEPARATE them into different mods - so enabling what I want?
