About this mod

Removes environmental image space modifiers for ENBs. Use with an AGCC-supporting ENB to keep screen effects like Night Eye without the normal side-effects of AGCC.

Changelogs
This is a simple patch that goes through every Image Space [IMGS] record and sets saturation, brightness, contrast, and color tint to default levels.
Normally, these effects get in the way of an ENB's desired results, due to constantly changing for various locations and times - but with this mod, that's no longer the case, meaning you can have AGCC active and the desired look of your ENB simultaneously.

(AGCC, or "Apply Game Color Correction", is an option available in many ENBs under enbeffect.fx. It's a function that applies saturation, brightness, contrast, screen tint, and screen fade values sent from the game which ENB would otherwise ignore. Some ENBs may have more complex AGCC settings while others have a simple checkbox. In general, you probably don't need this patch if your ENB has AGCC enabled by default.)

In layman's terms:
  • Install this mod
  • Make sure fGlobalContrastBoost=0 in skyrim.ini (it was at -0.18 for me for some reason - if it's not there, you can probably ignore this)
  • Turn AGCC on in your ENB settings
  • Turn off Night Eye Fix, if you were using it before
  • Try out some screen effects, like Night Eye, Berserker Rage, fade-to-blacks, etc.

This mod is for you if all of these:
  • You use ENB
  • Your ENB preset supports AGCC (many ENBs, though notably not Rudy)
  • Your ENB is designed around AGCC being off
  • You want to have the standard look of your ENB while retaining vanilla screen effects

This mod is not for you if any of these:
  • You don't use ENB
  • Your ENB doesn't support AGCC
  • Your ENB is designed around AGCC (The Truth or Silent Horizons, for example)
  • You don't mind how your ENB is affected with AGCC active
