    Is there a setting somewhere that enables thrown weapons to be recovered 100% of the time? If I throw, say, a steel axe, when I pick it up, the axe is lost. The only way that I can ensure that I get the weapon back is to enable auto return and I only want that feature to be enabled for enchanted weapons.

      It's the same as vanilla arrow recovery. You can use a mod to make arrows recoverable 100% to achieve that.

      ok :) this is good to know. Thank you. You wouldn't happen to know of a mod that does this? Most mods have features that I don't want. I want to make it so that they are always recoverable. Or perhaps I can tweak a .ini file to change the vanilla recovery chance to 100%?

      Game setting iArrowInventoryChance is used for that.

      I uploaded a file that would make it 100% for you to files section.

    Hi Shizof! what a wonderful mod! .... can i suggest one thing pleaassseee?

    im on a archer -bow gameplay and i loved maximum carnage slow mo death but i cant use it anymore with this mod and i dont want to use the tweak one cause its bugged and your is a beautiful mix..is it possiblle to add an option for " slow-mo" death bow? pleassseeeee

      Slow motion is already implemented. You need to enable it from MCM in this mod. But MC implementation only checks for melee, to support bow, I would need to implement it.

      yes im using slow mow for melee but with maximum carnage slow mow ( or the old maximum carnage tweak mod )  its working with bow .
      but not with this anymore, and your mod is much more up to date so it will be awesome to get optional slow mow for archer :)

      If there were bow gore, I would add slow motion to it immediately, but bow gore is not implemented yet in this MC integration. I'll have to add that first.

      it was a "slow mo " for each kill, with or without gore ..but was awesome as a archer gameplay.
      is there a way for me to add it back from maximum carnage without disable your?
      i cant find any mod who do slow mo for normal kill. :(

      That sounds like a completely different thing though. Stuff that exists in kill move mods.

      is it possible you actually have pseudo weapon collision enabled? There's a setting to spend mana to slow time when projectiles come near you while holding trigger, which is something you have to do for archery so it's possible you're seeing that interaction

    Maximum Carnage, I reinstalled it several times, only gutting and cutting off the head works, everything else is not displayed.

      What other stuff you wanted displayed? All the included content is implemented if plausible, but the effects applied depend on the weapon used.

    Is there a way to make this work with Bound Weapons? I'd love to be able to summon and throw

      It works with Bound weapons. In fact, combine it with Spell Wheel VR's bound weapon gestures and it's great.
      If you use bound weapon gestures, You can disable "Equip Back Bound Spell" setting from MCM->Settings page as well so that you can have your hands empty after throwing the bound weapon.

    is there a way to not lose thrown weapon in classic mode? I don't really want to be a master of telekinesis on lvl1, but permanently losing all my daggers on a first fight is not very fun.

    First, let me just say that this mod made my recent VR playthrough of Skyrim feel like an entirely new experience.  So much freaking fun being able to throw weapons and have them return at the flick of my wrist, haha.  THANK YOU for the work you put in to make this happen - please let me know if there's some way I can make a donation to you for your time and effort.

    With that out of the way, I apologize in advance for asking a question that's probably already been asked and answered countless times here (but a search of the terms "non-vr" "standard" "regular" etc. via CTRL+F here in these comments has turned up nothing), but have you created (or do you know of) a vanilla (non-VR) version/analog to this mod?  I'd enjoy being able to throw weapons in a non-VR playthrough, and I'm curious if such a mod exists.

      You are welcome. I'm glad you enjoy the mod.

      NON-VR version may come in the future. I have a lot in my todo list, and I'm usually adding new things on top and finishing them, making it impossible to finish the list. I would just need some enthusiasm for it I guess. I don't play flat version, so I don't know.

    Shizof have you ever used the skyrim VR opencomposite fixes custom build alongside weapon throw?

    For some reason, the grip buttons dont work anymore for me when trying to throw weapons, the triggers do however work, but i'm not a fan of using those for throwing as I always accidentally throw when trying to power attack.

      I have a vive pro, so I can't try opencomposite or similar, but I can't do anything for programs that change button access or information etc. anyway.

      I suggest using the trigger for the weapon throw button. For power attack, do not release the trigger after doing the power attack until your hand is stationary. That's how I use the same button for both.

      Thanks, and yeah it's the most non issue of all time, I just need to train myself to hold longer for power attacks

    hello~~, in the "Maximum Carnage",When the giant was killing the dragon, it knocked off a piece of the dragon's scalp, but it appeared blue and the texture was missing. What is the reason for this?

      Sounds like you were missing a texture from Maximum Carnage.

    Hey Shizof I'm wondering if the Maximum Carnage implementation also works with the Patreon version since the author seems to lock some of its features behind a paywall (cutting people in half etc)

    I seemed to have had a problem posting, so sorry if this double posts.
    Weapons thrown in classic mode get lost. Only about 1 in 4 ends up in the corpse inventory, others are stuck to the body.

      That's normal behavior. Odds are same as arrows.
