Thanks for trying this patch. I spent a great deal of time comparing these weapons and armor to their Requiem counterparts. In testing, I visited all the Holds and Helgen to make sure the armor was being displayed properly. I have not tested the entire Civil War, but I am going to begin a new Game specifically for this purpose. I did, however, compare outfits in SSEdit to make sure there was coverage. However, if anyone finds anything, please feel free to post here or create a bug report.
Took a look at Requiem 5.2.2 both in-game and through XEdit. Looks like they added new variety for the guard armors. New records in XEdit so I'm guessing this doesn't work for Requiem 5.2.2.
Thank goodness for this patch. I like Requiem and all but i absolutely abhor the mod's tendency to just outright step on other mod's toes and render them disabled. vanilla guard armor SUCKS
Thank you for checking out my mod. May I recommend my new one here. I to dislike the guard armor and in my new mod, I have replaced it with a different type of guard armor and have also updated it to the current version of Requiem. Plus, I will be adding more armors in the future, in a lore friendly way.
I am so happy you have brought one of my favorite mods for the Requiem SE port! I encountered the missing face bug of some guards in Solitude. Is this something that became present in the later releases of this patch. I saw your post about testing the new esp from 12 July and was wondering if reverting to an older release might fix this, but maybe the older releases had other bugs?
Try this, Use my patch at Requiem-Outfitted. It is not a replacer esp so it requires the original. But, if there is a problem, it should not exist with that one. If it does, definitely another mod causing it.
Hey guys, So what fixed this for me (had to do it manually), was replacing the Req. Guard Armor Replacers BOD2 - Biped Body Template Data with the BOD2 data from Guards Armor Replacer in SSEDIT. Idk why this works with the Solitude guard helm, but it just does.
It seems as if this may only be an issue on like one or two helmet files in this mod, specifically the ID Numbers 000c7f5c and maybe a few others.
I love the mod and will report back with more information from my playthrough if I find any others.
Since there is no link to Requiem in the description or under the required tab, and it's a required master file, i'll do the favour of uploading the link to said file here. If it's disliked the mod autor have the right to delete this post.
Thanks m0gg393. I appreciate it. For those reading, remember that you need to have the files converted to SE; which you can do yourself or download from LL.
Hi! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I love the look of this armor. However, I'm not interested in using Requiem. Can I still use this with Guards Armor Replacer just to replace the respective armors? Or do I NEED to have Requiem? Thanks!
