    On the Anniversary Edition:

    Make sure you have up-to-date versions of the following to prevent crashes and other issues:
    - SKSE64 for AE
    - RaceMenu
    - Faster HDT-SMP (do not use the "regular" HDT SMP mod for AE)
    - SSE Engine Fixes is always recommended as well
    - SMP-NPC crash fix: Use this if you're on AE and using physics hair on NPCs (or Proteus) crashes your game.

    In my recent tests there haven't been any issues with the latest versions of everything.

    If you are having issues with crashes, please report any details here or on the Faster HDT-SMP mod page or Discord:
    1. Version numbers for Skyrim, SKSE64, RaceMenu and Faster HDT-SMP.
    2. Use the game without physics hair and tell us if body physics works.
    3. Then try using a wig and tell us if wig physics works.
    4. Also, in Faster HDT-SMP, which mode did you use (SSE|AVX|AVX2|AVX512|CUDA)?  (If you used CUDA, don't for now.)
    5. What CPU do you have?  You can get CPU information from Windows.

    ok this is driving me insane

    ive never had any issues with this mod but now only 1 hairstyle shows up in racemenu. where are all the other ones? its messing up my npc mods that require ks smp and now theyre all bald. help??

    Skyrim VR users: !WARNING!
    Do not use "HDT-SMP for VR 1.4.15 v2.2 (BETA)" it is not stable.
    Instead only use "Faster HDT-SMP"

    I figured it out fuckers listen if any of u have a bug with KS Hairdos were the hair is stretchy and yur game crashes. It’s because u have two HDT SMP download u need to delete HDT SMP skinned mesh physics and just keep Faster HDT SMP trust me it works

      Nope, it does not. I've first installed faster HDT SMP and it didn't work. So I tried HDT SMP instead but the ony difference is that my hair is now stretched right instead of left.) Deleting either version of HDT SMP repatching with Nemesis, installing Engine Fixes (which have crushed my game in the begining) - nothing worked.

      Nope, FSMP may be the culprit but that is not a working general fix.

      I'm pretty sure I'm using FSMP: 2.1.3 and this mod works great for me.

      Edit: FSMP: 2.1.3 Is the latest FSMP version that supports the 1.6.1130 Skyrim version. However, even though the hair loads and works for me, the SMP part on the hair doesn't. if anyone has any possible solutions, please let me know.

      i assume you are using HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics) but it's outdated, try disabled it and go download https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339?tab=files [FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP] it worked for me

      removed the hdt smp and it solved everything. no my wigs dont stretch to ground and the hair moves as it should, no hair going through the body. YES! thx for the tip :)

    I solved it at least for me
    I looked at all these posts to do this that and the other thing
    None of it worked
    What I did
    Reinstalled
    During installation it says to build using body slide
    Don't Do IT 
    Works just fine for me now

    This works for me. I now have all my HDT mods working; NO CRASHES, after I installed HDT-SMP for Cloaks and Capes:

    Ofcourse you will still need Faster HDT for everything else.

    When running this mod and KS Jewelry SSE at the same time most of the jewelry works just fine...but when I try to equip the Choker (I have not tried the other necklaces) the hair clips and the choker does not appear on my character. Any one else run into this problem and/or know of a solution? Are they possibly sharing the same slot? Seems a bit odd though I guess technically it is possible considering I don't know where the hair is technically attached.
