The SE version of Infinite gold for Merchants has been taken down. The original is still up on LE, so it's possible the author may port it himself. This mod was originally based off of the LE version and will work just fine for people who want to port the LE version to SE for personal use.
Porting the LE version of this mod is as simple as loading and resaving it in the SE version of the creation kit. Scripts, to the best of my knowledge don't require any additional steps and work in either game version, though the BSA will need to be extracted and repacked or left loose as LE BSA files are not compatible with SE and will cause a CTD on load.
As I just updated the "RDO Update and MCM" mod, I thought I'd just check no conflicts had been introduced. None with that update.
Noticed that three of the "Dialog Topic"s were indicating conflict with RDO itself - all the rest (29) are a full merge of both Infinite Gold and RDO Conditions, but 2 only forward the Infinite Gold Conditions - "Hmph. I had you figured for a mage" and "So, you wish to master the arcane arts" "Spells and incantations for those with the talent to use them" is slightly different - all of the Conditions for RDO are forwarded, but the condition #3 Get in Faction - Court Wizard has been changed from = 1.000 AND to = 1.000 OR
Those three are the notorious ever looping mage series (everywhere I go I still get those three lines, and only those three) - reading the other dialogue options takes me back to the distant past - Haven't seen them for ages - I suspect when I originally installed Infinite Gold and this patch.
Were these changes/differences part of a fix sometime?
there is nothing in this patch that would cause ctd's. I have used it since I made it and by itself, it does not cause ctds. I suggest you take a look at your load order and adjust it accordingly. Do you have the required files. RDO and infinite gold. Is this patch after both those mods.
I can only say what I experienced while running the patch and what I experienced after removing the patch. I have a Legendary workshop mod that I have been using for years in SSE which certainly may have caused a conflict.
I am not trying to put down your mod, it is just with my load order I cannot use it.
Hello there @sattyre. I found out that when I use this patch it causes merchant to use out of place dialogues. No CTDs whatsoever for me. But, all merchants across skyrim being Blacksmith, Inkeep or whatever, they all seem to think I'm a mage. And use the magic vendor dialogues. Everytime I go to "what have you got for sale" they reply with: "I figured you for a mage". "Tomes, Spells I have them, can you use them" or whatever it was, and also "Ah you wish to master the arcane craft" When unchecking this patch, they use their proper and regular dialogue. Cheers
