25 December 2019, 7:43AM Hello! Thank you for your work and taking care of this mod, you may upload it by yourself to SSE Nexus and I'll put the link to port's page here.
As far as I have been able to tell, Everything in this mod ported nicely.I don't however play as a Thalmor or Thalmor supporter, so I haven't been able to check the cloned followers in this mod. If anyone has problems, let me know, and I will see what I can do to fix things. Don't expect too much though, as I have only ever ported for personal use prior to this mod, and have no real ck experience beyond porting.
Added a version with just the armor and vanilla NPCs wearing them for Easy NPC Users so they can add the armor and outfits back into the game.
I have no skills with altering meshes or the creation side of mod making, so I won't be fixing any clipping. This is a take it or leave it, scenario, though you are welcome to fix it for yourself and if you send me the results I will re-post the fixed version.
Beard clipping only ever occured for me because of the expressive facial animation mod. I haven't downloaded this Thalmor overhaul but the suggestion from the expression mod is to delete some .tri head file to fix this issue. Worked for me for in regard to the mod Unique Player Character.
I'm definitely loving the direction of the mod. One question: if i'm running WICO and I put this lower in my load order should it overwrite properly without a lot of unexpected problems? I know WICO can be picky, but this seems like this mod is targeting specific NPC's vs a general overhaul.
I didn't know exactly what is WICO and how it works in details, it's mostly in bsa archives and I can't check its file contents. But if you install any mods which may touch the same npcs in any way, there very likely may be issues. Load order can't do anything with it, probably only TES5Edit or anything similar, where you can clear particular npc from affection by particular mod.
@ Aisaka - WICO - Windsong Immersive Character Overhaul -- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2136 , I don't use it , but I was looking at it
I took a closer look at WICO and discovered it is a VERY finicky mod which actually goes deep in what it touches and some of my quests mods would apparently already conflict with it. So I've dropped it from my mod pack for this play through to help things remain somewhat more simple.
Thank you for your thoughts & time you have already given this question.
You can put it lower in your load order and you shouldn't have any issues. You can use an archive extraction tool so you are loading loose files, and there is one built into Mod Organizer 2. MO users should have all NPC overhauls prioritized exactly the same in both panes, otherwise you will end up with black faces. Loose files always overwrite BSA content. WICO overhauls a lot more then just NPC faces and will influence and overwrite any body mods above it. Those include eyes, skin, brows beards etc. and will as a result cause black faces on any npc overhaul above it, regardless of whether or not it is actually overwriting a specific npc. I do use WICO myself as an NPC baseline, but all my NPC overhauls, (all 30 something of them) are lower in the left and right panes of MO, and overwrite WICO.
glad to help. Don't let the troubles you had with porting this dissuade you from porting. Porting this one gave me some troubles as well. Happily I managed to overcome them through the use of foolhardy stubborn-ness.
"The Adoring Fan" is that a reference to the adoring fan from Rigmor of Cyrodiil? An Excellent mod if you have never played it.
Thanks for porting it. Been looking for this for a while. But you didn't put a link to the original mod in your page. Not a good thing for a mod that has been ported over. Also some screen in SE would be great. Those all are from LE.
yup this one was difficult to do. Some of the meshes where not being nice and I had to export it from the ck twice to get rid of the black faces. I don't know what the difference is, but some port easily and others don't.
this is brilliant, can't wait to see how it looks ingame. Ancano looks like the Witcher in Witcher 1 White Wolf! I have a strange fascination with the thalmor, hope the followers are more talkative than the vanilla npcs.

Great work by the way

For now, I'll just cover his head records with the ones from vanilla.
Not terribly precise but I'm lazy right now.

I've tried several times to port it before for myself but never got it to work. Now my mod list feels complete.
