Something in my load order is overwriting this, and I'm unsure how to figure out what it is. The guy's body isn't there at the Pal Pass border gate, and this armor doesn't even show up in console command searching. Help please? Other things added by this mod show up on the ground near the gate to Cyrodiil, like 1 or 2 of the dead Stormcloak archers, some Imperial shields and other vanilla equipment. Nevermind, I think I figured it out.
Serious question, If you are using CBBE (I do, for my follower/NPCs but play as a male) doesn't this armor kinda.... defeat the point of CBBE? I mean it's like putting a really gorgeous women in a beekeeper suit, doesn't matter what she looks like. I wear this, follower runs around in a bikini, seems pretty fair.
THIS is what I have been looking for, thank you. This armor - brace yourself: Actually LOOKS LIKE ARMOR. I know, insane, right? Oblivion armor looked so much better than Skyrims armor (just lower poly count/textures) Playing Skyrim again after 4 years so glad to see this.
Is there any chance that someone could create a patch so that the "cyrodilic" set from Tamrielic Culture at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) uses this armour's mesh and textures? I've tried my best to use sseedit but I cant seem to wrap my monkey brain around creating a replacer patch. It would be much appreciated :)
I've been looking at your artwork and it is well done, was wondering though. Do you by any chance plan on bringing the dwarven armor to skyrim with the shield. Look amazing would love to see it in game at 4k.
It has to be ported to Oldrim. I ported it successfully to Oldrim using the backwards capability of the SSE Nif Optimizer and I reduced the textures to standard Oldrim size which is 1K using DDSOpt. Looks pretty awesome in Oldrim.
I did and I actually edited it so that the Armors can be crafted at a Forge. I made this for personal use though. I don't want folks to get into thinking that the entire Skyblivion mod upon release will be made for Oldrim. I may be wrong but from what I understand and have read the development team is only making it for the SSE. I hope I am wrong actually because I am on an older laptop. It will run the SSE but I only get at max a frame rate of 20. It's playable and I made it more stable by reducing the size of all the textures in the game but the Skyblivion Mod is going to require a little more power. Hopefully my laptop will make the cut or they make it also for Oldrim as Oldrim runs great on what I have.
I have used both and both of them really do about the same thing except with Ordenador you can take the reduction a whole lot lower than DDSOpt will do. I made Skyrim look like that old game Runescape with Ordenador. DDSOpt will only cut textures down as low as 25% of the original. Main reason I use DDSOpt over Ordenador is if I want to go straight to 25% of original I can skip the 50%. With Ordenador you have to do multiple run throughs and when you are doing all this it is wear and tear on the life of your hard drive.
Yep that is pretty much what I have read and seen written many places. There will be those who try to port it to Oldrim but not me. We have a much more powerful desktop in the household that will easily play it and I will play it on that if my laptop won't do. I just won't be able to kick back in my recliner is all LOL!
without entering in debat of wich is better i totaly understand why the full skyblivion will be out in SE first ... but for this small content release i really hope they find there way on oldrim cuz me and many other player will apreciate it .
Actually I just saw a stream with Lorex who Is working on the great Forest of cyrodiil and I specifically asked him if it will release on oldrim because the issue was, when they merged their worlds together they ran out of form id's for oldrim. I personally can't play oldrim anymore cause it's too damn awful but I was curious and asked, he said they still will have the skyblivion release on oldrim but because of the form id problem he said it won't be able to be modded. Meaning you won't be able to add any mods in it. He said if you try to open it up I'm the creation kit 32bit it will mess up and not really let you do anything. So yeah it will be a worse version compared to special edition, again I don't care but figured I would ask since I know people who still won't change. Anyway good day friends.
Even though this set of posts is from 2020 I have to say this, you CAN make LE more stable them SE I have 4-8k textures on most things with high poly meshes, script and clutter heavy mods (2500+ mods in total) and get a nice 60 fps with no crashes so I do not understand why people think that LE is to unstable to mod.

I know this is a long shot, but I was wanting to know if there any plans to include a shield based on the oblivion style steel shield?
