0.9.4b adds support for taming creatures by default, no need to enable 'Tame Anything'.

0.9.3b fixes issues with animals not following the player through doors and makes stealing them a bit more immersive. If a guard catches you they won't only confiscate your stolen items, but any animals you may have swiped as well. This applies only to animals that are found near you.

Make sure to avoid paying the fine/going to jail or your favourite goat might get confiscated and you'll have to steal it all over again.

The mod works perfectly so far, but i can't "calm" a wispmother, my illusion skill should be enough but its not working, is there a way to force the tame?

How does the animal scaling work? When I've seen other mods, the animal gets set stats which override the ones they had as a wild animal. My experience of this is, when I fight a bear with say, 700 health, then tame it, it moves down to 250 health, and then gets 4 shot by NPCs because the animal's stats in the mod were set for skyrim's base easy mode. I only ever play on master or legendary, so need the pets stats to at least match what the wild ones have

Im not sure if this is still active, but my custom npc, marked as nothing but level 7, player horse faction, prey faction, spriggan prey faction, and of class horse, keeps resisting the tame animal spell, even when tame anything is active.

Now im sure it's just an issue on my end, this mod works with every other creature. Do you know what could be causing this?
Hopefully i just have to change some basic stuff again.

    So simple, so perfect!

If you want an animal friend or two to accompany you on long walks through icy lands, this is perfect! It plays nicely with all the other animal mods i have.

The only moderate issue is that animals both fight for you, and are completely mortal. If you don't tell them to stay before a fight, they'll get themselves killed.

Gotta use commands to revive them and then retame :(

i haven't tried this mod. it looks interesting.
my first concerns about this mod , just from the description and video would be,
    (1) is this compatible with nether follower framework, can i use NFF to modify the behavior of of the animal and control them with the follower slots
    (2) is there a limit to the amount of animals you can have under your control at any time ?

Is there a way to make this work with Ordinator's Speak With Animals Speech perk? The dialog window does pop up on animal companions you can "tame" from that mod's perk, but the animal doesn't follow the commands. In fact, it just bugs them out and makes them unusable.

Is there anyway to increase the level cap of the tame animal spell?

I was so excited to get this mod for classic Skyrim and only then I realized it's only made for SE... made me soo saad :(( I suppose there is no way it could work, right?

Edit: I found a similar mod made for Oldrim, so now this post here is kinda senseless, I'm sorry. Wish posts could be deleted... o.o

Tame the Beasts of Skyrim II. I recommend using this patch as it corrects the terrible grammar of the mod creator and other minor stuff like that.

But note I've encountered a few bugs that show occassionally and the patch didn't aim to fix. They may not happen to you but I thought it's a good thing to warn you. Sometimes when I trigger a trap in dungeons it randomly opens up the level-up window of your current pet (even when I didn't have any active pet at the moment) and it levels the pet up infinitely, making it impossible for you to close the level-up window. I had to reload a previous save to escape that situation. So I'm very careful about traps now. The game also once kept crashing on a certain spot and I discovered it was caused by my active pet.

Also a big advice for you that you will understand later: there is a quest that lets you also tame dragons after completion. Once you get to the part where Roselia tells you to retrieve a book and the quest will say "Bring the book to Roselia", keep in mind that after you give her the book and leave the Petshop, a dragon will fly over and no matter if you wish or not, you will have to fight it. But the dragon is extremely strong and you have to be quite skilled and leveled up to defeat it, so do NOT give Roselia the book before you're sure you're strong enough for it. The goal there is to get the dragon's health down to 20% and then you'll be able to tame it. Nobody warned me, so I wanted to do that for you :)

But overall the mod has many cool features and is quite easy to work with (especially with the grammar patch - I didn't understand some things without it), so if you really really want your own beast pets, it's probably the best choice we have.

Is there a script running on this mod that forces the tamed animals to be immune from setessential command? If so, then it basically ruins the mod for me. I have tried for over an hour to manually set the tamed animal to essential so I can actually use it as a companion, but it just wont work at all.

    Hello,

I made a French translation of your mod.

Do you allow me to publish it?
