About this mod

This is a mini-DLC, comparable to the Hearthfire DLC, which includes five installations of hidden black markets across five important cities in Skyrim. An unmarked quest for OP enchantments. An unmarked quest for Black Market theft in Dishonored 2 style. New spells. New weapons. New Perks.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

Let's just say that Skyrim's merchants and vendors are HUGELY DISAPPOINTING! Most merchants sell you weak items or not-noticeable gears. Even the Black Market perk in Dragonborn DLC still makes the game underwhelming. After you reach very high levels, merchants became useless aside from farming golds. This mod adds five installations of hidden black markets across five important cities in Skyrim. Whiterun, Windhelm, Markarth, Solitude, Riften. A secret black merchant in Solstheim as well but you have to look closely, I won't give you anymore clue except the hidden black market is in Raven Rock and nowhere else.

My inspiration for this mod comes from the Dishonored 2 which the game has one of the best vendor systems out there. The biggest fascination from that game is the hidden quest to break in and steal the black market shops. A combination of stealth and brute force. Something that I had extended further in this mod. I created an unmarked quest of breaking and stealing from the black markets (except Solstheim) in the VERY DIFFICULT and REWARDING style. There is a series of things that you have to do. A puzzling journey that starts in Solitude.

The mod also adds an unmarked quest for OP enchantments, which Bethesda removed them for an unknown reason. Nevertheless, I designed at least 21 different enchantments encoded in 21 disenchantable rings possessed by 21 different hostile enemies across Skyrim. The reason for the 21 enchantments lies in the fact that they present the 21 different classes in Oblivion. An inspiration that I follow. These enemies are very strong, so I recommend you to get on high levels before facing them. There are some of them that you may accidentally face during a certain quest (only a few of them, not all of them). Run if you can't fight against one of them. Most of them are hidden from the eyes of other NPCs. So it is ideal for you to complete the Black Market Heists to find the rest of the rings across Skyrim.

Along the journey, you may find new weapons, perks, and artifacts. You have to look very closely at the rooms that I have designed. I put many surprises around for those with exceptionally cautious personality.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BLACK MERCHANTS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Merchants, who stand behind the counter, sell every single thing in existence. Leveled based. They are part of the Shadowy network of black markets and informants across Tamriel. All of them are also powerful mages who can cast powerful spells and travel across Oblivion. A reason for how they procured many goods to sell.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE SHADOW MAGES
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shadow Mages, who lean outside the counter, sell special tomes, unique consumables, and special services.

The special tomes here are Shadow Magic, designed after the Nightblade class in the Elder Scrolls Online. These spell tomes are expensive and very overpowered.

The unique consumables are Star Teeths that grant perk points for every consumption. There is also a special type of poison that kills the target via explosion if you have high Sneak skill to put the poison in the target's pocket (Adhesive Explosive).

Around 13 new ingredients, from The Elder Scrolls Online, are sold exclusively by these merchants.

The Shadow Mages also sell business opportunities in the form of promissory notes as well as magical offerings. These items are necessary to redeem in the business table.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BUSINESS TABLE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The table is installed across five different secret shops in five major cities of Skyrim. It helps the customers having the necessary tools and informations to redeem their satisfaction.

1. World Transdimensional Gateway: The special magical teleporter that grants privileged individuals the ability to teleport across space-time. The Dovahkiin has been granted such privilege, and only the hero can use it. The device allows you to teleport between five major cities of Skyrim undetected.

2. Shadow Ventures: The business journal that allows the player to redeem the promissory notes, purchased from the Shadow Mage, that can grant additional goals and unexpected rewards. The higher the golds you paid for the five types of promissory notes. The higher the rewards but you may get some unpleasant rewards along the way. It is a lottery game, costly.

3. The Revenant's Orb: The Sigil Stone allows the worshippers of the Revenant, God of Worms, Mannimarco to communicate with the Dark God. You need to purchase certain deeds, three types of the deed, that guarantee the necessary offerings to attract the attention of The Revenant. He may shower you with scrolls and soul gems to reward your worship.

4. The Jewel of Aetherius: The special Jewel, divine fragment from the gods of Aetherius, fell down on Nirn a few millennia ago. This jewel is similar to the Jewel of Fire that Jagar Tharn used. However, this jewel, scattered among five hidden shops in five major cities of Skyrim, grants the user greater power and experience if he or she pays necessary golds. This jewel is an unlimited trainer if you can afford 20,000 golds each time. I am sorry, cheating is expensive.

WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY SPELLS or  ANYTHING THAT CAN DISRUPT THE OBJECTS IN THE ROOM. THESE ACTIVATORS ARE NOT STATIC, and they can fall off easily.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE HEIST
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I have said, I designed this mod after the inspiration of Black Markets in Dishonored 2. One of the greatest features from Dishonored 2 is the Black Market heists, which you break in and steal from those markets.

In Skyrim, I emulate the system differently and more extremely difficult. This is an unmarked quest.

First, you have to travel to Solitude, Winking Skeever. Search for the "Invisible Knapsack" belong to Zumon Arakog, the Orcish battlemage belong to the Imperial Legions. He traveled to Skyrim to search for abnormal phenomenons that could threaten the world again like the Oblivion Crisis, Umbriel Crisis or The Culling. You have to collect the journals from him to learn of his final whereabouts. To make the puzzle search more rewarding, I added NEW PERKS for each time you read one of his journals. These perks are quite powerful and giving new spells for you.

A word of warning: After you collect the final journal, you will be pointed towards a particular tower. Inside it, you will face bosses on the difficulty of Dark Souls and Monster Hunters combined. I highly recommend you to get above LEVEL 81 and pack up plenty of hax and overpowered gears/skills/spells. CHEATERS DO NOT APPLY. Once you are inside the tower, you can't go out. The only way of going out is to acquire the special spell from a corpse within the last dimensional room.

At the very end of the journey, you will gain access to the five portals that lead to five different dimensions in Oblivion. Here are the places where business associates of Black Market Merchants, Daedras, reside and procure goods. These places are challenging dungeons packed with very powerful Daedras. If you managed to sweep through the bosses of the tower, you should have little issues of sweeping through these Daedras. I placed a lot of surprises within these dungeons. If you look carefully, you may get special prizes.

The dungeons are designed to have a begin and an endpoint. At the endpoint, you will have the way to break into the Black Market shops back on Nirn. Within there, you can steal anything that you want. Don't anger the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper is invulnerable and essential. Don't attack the shopkeeper! After stealing things, you can cast the spell to escape quickly.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE RINGS OF POWER
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is also an unmarked quest

Aside from the Heist, I also added at least 21 different enchantments encoded in 21 dis-enchantable rings possessed by 21 different hostile enemies across Skyrim.

There are some ring-holders hiding in places that you may not know. You need special intel about their locations. The only people who know about their whereabouts are THE BLACK MERCHANTS. These merchants have journals in their inventories. You have to pickpocket them. The only way to do it is to complete the Heist, so you can get close to them.  Warning, if you failed to steal the journal, they may turn hostile to attack you and like I said they are invulnerable.

THE UNIQUE ADDITIONS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Daedric enemies in different colorful armors that you, unfortunately, will never able to get. But you can summon them.
+ More powerful versions of Dwemer Animunculis that you will be able to summon
+ Thrilling super bosses with insane powers that will make you rage (except filthy cheaters)
+ Three legendary artifacts: Kaanathir (Dragon Priest Mask from Elsweyr), Staff of Shadows (Artifact from Xarxes, God of Secrets), Folium Discognitum (Artifact from Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness)
+ New 50 SKILL BOOKS from The Elder Scrolls Online that can only be found during The Heist
+ New Perks and spells
+ New enemies in the wilderness hidden within the ranks of Bandits. They are the agents of the Underworld that aid the very black market network which you purchase items from. They can be found randomly as you raid bandit camps or being attacked by bandits. These agents are stronger than the average bandits.

NOTICE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- In the final part of The Heist as you approach the tower's entrance, steer to the far left or far right of the gate to find the "activate" button.
- Look everything, CAREFULLY!! You might miss hidden opportunities if go too fast.
- A lot of the enemies in this mini-DLC are very powerful, especially the bosses. I recommend you to stack up in power before going after them.
- These black shops provide the means to go beyond your current level. Use them, and ALOT!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTICE FOR THE OPTIONAL LEGACY OF THE DRAGONBORN PATCH
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- In the patch, I included many artifacts that may break the quests of LOTD. Usage is advised, and I recommend you visit the LOTD wiki to avoid buying a certain item that somehow activates a quest.
- I highly recommend to buy the books, appeared on the LOTD checklist in SkyUI. There are some notes may activate unwanted quests or break questlines. Again, usage is advised.
- The super boss is very strong, so becareful. Cheating is expensive!
- I also added a shrine to Baan Dar that functions pretty much like Jewel of Aetherius. You can get skills in Solstheim as well.
- Added "Ring of the Vampire Lord" to the super boss. A reward that allows one to transform into a Vampire Lord without being a vampire. It appears that the super boss bought from Baan Dar himself.
