    About older SSE versions:

    I don't have the time to maintain those. The source code is available if someone wants to make older versions.

    HDT-SMP requires your CPU to have the SSE 4.1 instruction set.

    This was added to Intel CPUs in ~2009 (late Core 2 refresh models, and Nehalem+) and AMD CPUs in ~2012 (Bulldozer+).

    This applies to the no-AVX version too.

    For those who are receiving virus warnings regarding one of the .dll files in this mod -- these notices are false positives.  Our files go through multiple virus scans before they are uploaded.  This process is automatic.  I use this mod myself and have no issues with it.  It could be that an anti-virus program has updated, which is why it's suddenly throwing warnings about the .dll.  Some a/v programs will almost automatically throw a warning on a .dll file.  There is a way to "white list" files so that your a/v program ignores them.  Do some research on how to accomplish this with your particular a/v program and white list that file.

    For any versions of Skyrim AE, use the builds of Faster HDT-SMP instead of the ones available on this mod page.

      technically faster SMP should just be a straight upgrade and work with all the mods this one does.

      Do you have to download all its dependencies? Seems like you need 10 different mods for that.

      Use 'Faster HDT SMP', it's better than hdt smp and the author has updated it to the current version. That also works for mods that use HDT SMP.

      the essential cloak physics mod no longer works (artesian), everything does not work with Faster HDT unfortunately and the other one has been inactive for 4 years lool

      Faster HDT only works for pc's who has a new processor it doesn't support old processors.

    I have 1.5.97 version of SSE

    Which one should I use? 
    HDT-SMP 
    or FASTER HDT-SMP
    can you guys help me for this ?

    and if i use FASTER HDT-SMP  , what i need for this ?

      Faster SMP is the last mod I need to restore my game to what it was, always the last one to get updated. =(

      Game works, but no smp hair, cloaks etc.

    looked at this section just cause seems both verssions are outdated- Faster hdt smp outdated also right now...

    Hello,

    So thanks to "FASTER-HDT" my capes (mostly NPC) finally work. However, using the non-avx causes the capes not to work, if I skip the error message and load anyway the capes work and I've found no game issues.

    MODS:
    Faster HDT-SMP
    FSMP Faster HDT-SMP XML SEE
    HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics) HDT-SMP for 1.97 v2.11 or (no-avx)

    Skyrim AE: 1.6.1130.0

    Is there a correct mod load for 1130?
