Simple mod that adds a place to keep horses in one place outside of Whiterun.
Is available on world map for fast travel and provides a place to sleep for free at any time.
SEE NEW MOD ' THE CORRAL REDUX '. IT REPLACES THIS MOD AND ALL OPTIONS ARE COMBINED INTO ONE MOD.

This is my first mod attempt. For me, having horses to ride adds to the overall enjoyment of this amazing game.
Having a place to keep them all together seems like a good idea. With all the great horse mods available,
this mod adds a place to assemble and maintain your herd in a setting which blends naturally with the surroundings.
Use your favorite horse mods to fill The Corral with a herd worthy of a Thane.
I like the beautiful and nimble horses of "Swift Steed Stables" and use "Convenient Horses" to set The Corral as they're home.
Doing this assures your horses will always return to the same spot no matter where you leave them,
so you and all of your followers will never have to walk.
The Corral office provides a bed to sleep in and a dresser to store stuff. The business ledger has no function at present,
but may be developed in the future depending on whether there is sufficient interest in the mod.
The Corral can be installed with a mod manager or manually by simply pasting the file in the Data folder
of the game directory. Due to all the different versions of Skyrim available, it is recommended to install it after escaping Helgen to prevent any new game compatibility issues. After Helgen it can be installed/uninstalled at any time with only the 'missing mod' warning appearing but not affecting the play through. If you already have horses in The Corral when you uninstall it, they will simply be standing in the field where they were. Some landscape contours can be slightly changed by other mods that affect the terrain with no adverse affects. Such as, "Elysium Estates", a popular player home mod which is located right next door to The Corral, will change the landscape of The Corral to the more uneven ground of the vanilla game. It is necessary to load The Corral early in the mod order so it can be overwritten by your other mods. In the case of "Elysium Estate", if you load it before The Corral, the land that is located around the stall and animal pen area will be rendered as unusable. That said, I have not encountered any ill effects to game play during my testing. I invite other modders to use The Corral in their projects and perhaps expand its functionality in creative ways with acknowledgement of the original mod in their work.
