Summary

Armor or Robes? No longer will you have to make that choice. This mod allows you to craft all the standard robes of the vanilla game as clothing or as Light Armor. Dragonscale, Elven, Elven Gilded, Glass and Leather options are all available.

So what can you craft?

To keep this as 'lore friendly/balanced' as possible, the armored robes you create will have slightly less armor rating than the equivalent vanilla armor, it will however be lighter. All items you craft can be enchanted (none are enchanted by default), and all armor pieces can be tempered.

How do I craft?

All the items can be crafted from scratch as clothing using the Tanning Rack. In order to avoid unnecessary clutter in the Forge crafting menu, the armored items will only appear as options at the forge once you have the pre-requisite item in your inventory.

Rather than crafting these robes from scratch, you simply need the equivalent vanilla armor and some Linen Wraps for adding the 'cloth'. (inspiration for this idea came from More Triss Armor Recolours UNP and Vanilla (standalone) by Rusey- please go check that mod out!). The nice thing about this, is you do not need to be able to forge the underlying armor.

So lets say you want to create the Arch Mage Robes with the Elven amor rating? You will first need the vanilla 'Elven Armor', once you have it, bring it to the forge along with a couple of Linen Wraps - and you will see and be able to craft 'Archmage Robes (Elven)'. If you want to craft the boots, you need 'Elven Boots' etc..

Are there any conflicts?
All items within this mod are added as new items, and as such should not conflict with any other mod. If you have any re-textures or replacement meshes for the vanilla robes, this mod should be fully compatible.
