Tired of the enemy just cutting right through your blocking and murdering you like you are just another milk drinker. Want blocks to actually feel like they are blocking an attack instead of having it cut off and chewed on until you die. Well this is the mod for you.

What This Mod Does:
Simply put this mod makes all the vanilla shields really feel like you are blocking, that being said, ALL vanilla shields block damage. so if the enemy is also wielding a shield know that he/she will also block incoming damage, so make your attacks more strategic. All vanilla shields have been maxed with armor rating. Don't worry, shield bumps will not do any extra damage only block all damage.

Installation
esp and esl available just download it with your mod manager of choice.


I personally went through each shield and changed the armor rating of all shields.

Now go out there and use that arm like a true Dovakiin.

(Side note if you have mods that add shields or start you with shields the settings from this mod will not apply to those, you need to find one of the shields, or kill an enemy that has a shield and take his or buy from a vanilla merchant, all these will have armor ratings of over 600)

Edit: Id like to add that I have been playing with this myself constantly, It really seams to make one on one fights feel a little more personal, so I would like to suggest a mod along with this one that makes the AI more defensive it seems, and just goes together very well, especialy for first person combat, and that mod is the famous TK combat by the awesome mod author TK https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17196?tab=posts
