Yes, Yes and Yes. That version was an old mod of mine, my second ever. I hastily uploaded it without fixing things and with a nasty looking dragon retexture. I made the dragon before I knew what I was doing. I'm deleting that old version off the nexus in 24hrs. This version contains the following changes:
Completley brand new dragon retexture (thanks to Aikospacerogue) Looks severely menacing compared to a nasty blob. I gave each of the dragons 3 unique drops; A potion containing a part of thier soul mixed with Alduin's, this potion is potent enough to grant 1 perk point. 23 extra perks total. New unique dragon scales and bones, can be used to craft 2 new beautiful armor sets male/female versions slightly stronger than regular versions. Blessed Dragonplate armor (thanks to Kameltosis) Blessed Dragonscale armor (thanks to fyrestorm) Fixed errors and cleaned with latest version of SSEEDIT. Renamed all dragons from "Bride" to "Alok-Dilon" which means "necromancer" in dragon tongue Flagged as ESL so it doesn't impact load order. Uses vanilla assets and places objects in rarely used areas to ensure maximum compatibility.

I, like many others, am very excited to see where you will take this mod. I read about your plans in another reply. I second the request to make this only trigger once you've reached a certain point in the main quest.
If you are needing ideas, a different approach could also hook into "cult of the world eater". The brides may buff alduin alongside the dragon priests, or they wouldn't wake up until you've defeated enough of the priests or collected enough of the masks. I honestly don't know if that would add significant complication to the mod, but it could have some great synergy.
Unfortunately whenever I drink the blood potion thingy to get a new skillpoint nothing happens despite the fact it says it gives me one. I have checked the skill tree.
Really loving the idea behind this. One question though, is it possible to make the dragons only appear once you've started the main quest and fought Mirmulnir at the watch tower? Or maybe they could start to appear even later in the MQ?
As another user noted, having these things show up when I'm lvl 1 makes traversing the wilderness even more hazardous than it already was.

I only know how to make things appear or dissapear after you walk thropugh an invisible box called a trigger box.
With my limited skillset using triggers and quests I was planning on placing an invisible trigger box inside the sleeping giant behind the hidden shelf in the basement room. So basically the moment you walk into Delphines secret armoir the BOA's will then start spawning.
I'm adding jills, they will be found in the wild via the leveled lists. im adding 1 boss jills and 2 boss BOAs boas will be revamped, they will ressurect themselves upon death so you have to kill them 2x but they won't be as bulky. I'm using zerofrosts behemoth dragon model for the BOAS and a retextured version for the Jills. To get the perk you will have to craft 2 boa hearts with the feather of a jill. So now you have to kill 3 dragons to craft 1 perk potion, this effectively cuts the extra perks available from this mod down from 24 to 12. I'm adding some BOAS to solstheim I'm adding a jill to the chantry of auri-el I deleted all of the old word walls and chests. Instead I made a neat little shrine with a small chest and some different random clutter at each burial mound. The Boa's will be hard but not as hard as they once were. I'm adding a dozen lore books with content straight from other elder scrolls games or from EUSP.wiki to explain the background of jills and BOAS
I spent 2 weeks reading on jill lore after work. I have come up with my own created names for Jills and BOAS while trying to remain as consistant with lore as possible, here is a summary: Male Dragons are named with 3 syllables almost always. Al-Du-IN, Paar-Thur-Nax, Ak-A-Tosh etc etc... the only exception known is Dragon Pepe and I would bet it was using a pseudonym or maybe wasn't even a dragon. There is only one Jill that has a name that we know of. Also corrupted jills or BOA'S as I had been calling them do not even officially exist, although they should... The 1 jill is known as the mother of all jills she is known as "Ma-Tylda" So when naming jills, I made them have 4 syllables as apposed to 3. I also made them have two-words in their name like Ma-Tylda has two words. Jills are a stupid name for female dragons to me personally, so in my head canon it's a nickname. The real name of female dragons is actually... Joltiid-Qostiid Dragon tongue for "Unsteady Time Prophecy" Continuing my "I hope that's a nickname" theory... Ma-Tylda is short for "Monah-Tiidah" Meaning Mother Time Pusher in dragon tongue. The corrupted jills are called Alok-Dillon meaning Necromancer in dragon tongue The lead corrupted jills there are 2 of them, named Umzii-Brinah & Umzill-Brinah or spirit/soul sisters in dragon tongue.

I am releasing a mod around xmas called seeing solstheim that allows you to... see solstheim and other places that should be visible. Immediately after that mod is released I will be releasing a new version of this mod. I am planning on a valentines day release for the coming BOA update.
Was there ever an update to this? I love the idea of the mod, currently building a modlist around bossfights and would love to hear if this one is getting an update!
It will be getting an update, but it could be awhile. :( Wish I had better prospects for everyone reading, but I got a lot of modding to do before I'll be able to get to this one.

yo! so i was wondering if a backport to oldrim could work since i prefer oldrim because when SE released i couldn't download some of my faviroute mods on SE so i stuck with oldrim, i updated it over time to look pretty much just like SE but obviously some mods are not capable of being downloaded on oldrim. sadly this mod is one of them. i freakin love the idea of this entire mod and the dragon mounds always interested me so, just wondering if you could put this up on the oldrim nexus? ty for this amazing mod.

i removed the perk point from the potions you find on the brides. they now gives only some nice unique regeneration buffs. i created a new bride potion that gives a perk point. made it craftable. it needs 4 original bride potions to be crafted. so if you hunt 20 brides you get 5 perk points. (i like to do your bride hunting trip but didnt want to have 20 extra perk points) buffed one of the armor sets and added unique enchantments to its pieces. made it much harder to craft. added a new craftable potion (with special buffs)that you ll be able to craft once you killed all the brides.
ps: cant help about their difficulty. in my game their life is about 13000 (i modified the life of most enemies to have longer fights)
I had the same problem, I use Ordinator but I still end up with far too many perk points at the end. I also thought 20 was a tad much. Thank you for your feedback, as a modder good feedback is like crack! Don't be surprised if I mention you in the credits and use some of these ideas in my next update.
thank you. would be nice to make them respawn as ghosts (ghost dragons) after being killed for the first time. without the perk potion but with some new ingredient to craft something new and interesting. i added to the original ones an ingredient (called it bride heart) to craft that potion that you can begin crafting after killing the brides .
State of the mod for 2020: A quick update. I went deaf in one ear out of the blue. This severely affected my ability to dedicate time to modding. It consumed my thoughts and I just couldn't concentrate on modding. I'm learning how to cope with being half deaf now and it doesn't consume my thoughts as it did before. That said...
I've been reading all the comments and bugs. I will be addressing like 95% of everything that you all have posted about and soon (within the next 3-6 months). I have a couple mod ideas that I'm gonna implement and upload to nexus for the next few months first. I enjoy making mods, I mostly enjoy making patches, I DREAD making the modpage/advertising. I have a website called Skyrim2020.com. In a few days time I will let the domain lapse and the site will be no more because I would rather invest time into creation and patching than advertising/page making. I've taken to announcing my mods on reddit username daermonster.
When I start patching in a few months, patches/fixes will be implemented in the same order as when I released the mod being updated. So ADGTS will be the first.
Now for what will be changed in this mod for the planned update: All bugs that have been reported will be squashed. I'm gonna add a book expanding on the lore of my brides, explaining how they integrate into current lore. I'm gonna decrease the aggro radius so its harder for them to start attacking you. Noticed like 1 or 2 floating chests Solstheim is in need of some dragon burial mounds I'm thinking...
One issue i have is being level 1 and spotted by one of these dragons is a nightmare they chase you down location to location making progress impossible.
So I replied once and my reply is gone poof.... wierd but anyways it was either creatures or vanilla locations... mihail drops like 20 mods a month in the creature category and my mod would have gotten no love, it would be lost. So I went vanilla locations so I have a chance of making the most endorsed of that category. But either category would be a good fit for this mod.
Sorry to keep being a pain in the butt... I noticed that the mods you credited are all original Skyrim mods, and at least one of them contains meshes.
Since you didn't say, I have to ask... have these meshes been converted over to Skryim SE? (I believe the standard tool to do this is either SSE Optimizer or Cathedral Assets Optimizer.)
No don't apologise for being curious, I try to say this often but I really do enjoy all the commentary. Please ask any questions you may have I'm not annoyed at all amigo! Answer: Yes. I always clean my textures and optimize my meshes using NIF Optimizer. I actually play my version of the game using many converted oldrim mods that can't be released. I'm fairly skilled at converting them over... Pirates of Skyrim on SE is hella fun and way more stable. I released Northern Encounters recently and hundreds of people are currently playing with a file I converted NOT ONE problem. So I would venture to say that I'm decently skilled as a converter of old mods to new. But again I don't know everything like yesterday I figured out how to convert esp into esl, so please keep asking questions it's been making my modding skills way way way better brother :)
