About this mod
This mod is all about stats.
Note: I realize I have switched gears a couple times. I've replaced the old graphs for illustrating just how this mod alters statistics in a deep way.
No two races are alike. They now adhere to a "fair" distribution of points. I'll be rolling out with *three variations* asap.
- Permissions and credits
Verisimilitude... the appearance of being true or real.
Weapons + Attributes = Hardcore *Realism*.
Challenge and balance are the primary goals of this mod (so far).
Included Changes:
First of all, I'd like to thank a lot of people for their affectionate and positive position that means a lot to me.
Secondly, as I look over the past half dozen years or so, I feel this is better late than never. Hope you guys enjoy the mod as much as I have while play-testing it.
Here are two charts. You can see the changes made to races, which all center around 300 points (Health, Magic, and Stamina). No two races are exactly alike. having 200-400 points available helps me feel like a more "Action Role-player" than any other mod (I may be a bit biased). ;)
Also, there's a lot of weapons in The Elder Scrolls, whew. By a lot I mean, 14 weapon materials, 9 weapon types, for a simple math of 126 AND THAT'S ONLY WEAPON TEMPLATES! This is how the game rolls stats for any of your enchanted weapons and armor. ...Armor, I haven't got around to fiddling with.
Still, this mod culminates in the very finest of my work. I've gained experience in modding statistically challenged games and wanted to get my two sense in on this amazing game. Fights feel more substantial, rewards are more varied, and uncommon weapons are truly possible using this mod.
