THE MOD IS NOT FULLY VOICED YET. THE MOD BELOW ONLY PRODUCES SILENT VOICE FILES, DO NOT EXPECT IT TO PROVIDE VOICE ACTING.

Please use Fuz Ro D-oh for silent dialogue, will help in many scenes: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15109

DO NOT UPDATE THIS MOD MID-PLAYTHROUGH, IF YOU HAVE A PREVIOUS VERSION OF BEYOND REACH AND WISH TO PLAY. YOU MUST DO SO ON A NEW SAVE.

IF YOU CANNOT FIND THE MERCHANT AT THE BEGINNING, YOU HAVE UPDATED MID-PLAYTHROUGH OR HAVE OLD SCRIPTS FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

Is this mod ever going to be fully voiced? After all, it's been close to 3 years now and it's still not fully voiced. I'd love to play through the mall but to me with it not being fully voiced your only playing part of the mod

you really ougt to put a disclaimer on this or a warning, i get that the idea is to be "dark" but its gone to the point of being unneccersary, you can make things dark without including CHILD MOLESTATION. especially if you're not going to warn people about things like that, the scenes of torture and rape are wholly unneccersary and detract from the enjoyment of the mod greatly, the mod was intriguing and interesting to me, until it just went down hill as it just tried to pile on shock value upon shock value, a tired trope, and its unfortunate that this shock value has sullied an otherwise interesting mod

I don't think I advertised this mod as anything else except dark fantasy. None of it is shock value "for the sake of it", you can resolve most of the shocking moments through your own choices. If you never battled the Orcs in "Malacaths March", then you would not see the tortured Orc Shaman in the town (who was captured from Deepcrag through your help). It is a skippable quest. You also resolve Denize's story later on in the main quest.

As for the child molestation, there were many hints that it was happening very early in the main quest. This mod is supposed to juxtapose your image of a generic fantasy kingdom with the realities of power and exploitation that came with feudal rule.

You wont like The Witcher 3 either then... a very great game, that uses the exact same means to achieve the same ends. Sometimes the means do justify the ends, you know. Especially when the goal is to achieve a realistic image of how rotten something like this would likely be if it was real and not just happy fairies. I for one felt way more involved than usual, since especially in the end things came down to my own sense of morals, and that definitley deserves an endorsement, which I have gladly given.

Do you know how pure blood vampires are created? Ask Serana.

Yes, thats vanilla. Thats TES Lore. Then read about last Ayleid prince, about The Siege of Orsinium and Breton attitiude toward's Orsimers.
You may even experience Namira's small presence in Skyrim. You have to deceive an innocent man to then kill him and feast on his body.

Not to mention the fact that there's an orphanage in Riften. What do you think these children had to go through when one of them was so desperate to call Sithis? To murder?

And how about the history of the Snow Elves? Do you know what the Falmers are and how they became what they are now?

Or about House Dres and slavery, which is part of the Dunnmer culture?

I think you fought the dragon. Throughout the game, you kill hundreds of them, didint you? But according to lore you dont simply kill tem. You destroy them, strip their souls and reach for their power. You erase their existence in the most brutal way possible.

And probably the funniest thing - in the very first scene you see an execution. The victim's headcuts. Shortly afterwards you see a child standing above the burned body of his father. A moment later, you visit a torture chamber where the torturer makes fun of the victims.

And yes, as i said above - that's all vanilla TES Lore.

I think you picked the wrong game. But you certainly have something to choose from. After all, there are so many infantile games. For example murican tripale A shooter's, where you don't see any civilians, but at the same time in wars mainly civilians die.

Man, if you don't like that kind of stuff, then this mod is not for you unfortunately. Dark fanatsy includes everything! I and many others really like that mod authors go outside of comfort zone.

So far I'm loving your mod and don't really have any issues with it other than a lack of gender check. I realize the mod isn't fully voiced, but I don't really like being called a "lad" or being referred to as a male. Just thought I'd let you know because I don't know if it's something you haven't added yet or something you overlooked. If you don't want to do gender checks, then maybe consider making references to the Dragonborn more gender neutral.

This mod is dark, evil and tragic.
And I enjoyed every bit of it.

A tip for all: If you use the "Alternate Start" and "Alternate Start - BRUMA" MODs, when you choose to start in BRUMA, The "Priest" and "Bodyguard Oliver" don't appear to start "Beyond Reach" MOD. Many use the console command below:

    coc reachquest0

The problem is that this causes several bugs in the textures of "Beyond Reach" MOD (Example: Mara Temple, in the city "The Divide"). If you have this problem, do so:

    1) Enter the Console;
    2) Enter the following lines:

    resetquest ArnimaStartSceneQuest [ENTER]
    setstage ArnimaStartSceneQuest 0 [ENTER]

    3) Exit Console
    4) Travel to some city of Skyrim (I always go to Markarth, Falkreath or Whiterun)
    5) Check if it worked! (Sorry for my English!)

I'm following Nordic's guide and currently testing my thus-far installed mods. I can't seem to find the priestess and Oliver in any city. Do you have to be Dragonborn to start this quest line or much higher than level one?

A couple of the quests seem bugged/broken, a lot of missing textures and holes in the world I've stumbled across and fallen through. Quite a few unfinished seeming areas with no update for almost a year, I'm guessing this mod is more or less as finished as it's going to get but definitely has a patchy feel. Some of the voice acting really feels out of place (not counting the gaps where some just aren't voiced) like they're coming in over voicechat. Really large mod that adds a lot of content but it just feels unfinished.

Also the people here are asses, executions going on every time I enter the city, extortion, public torture for the lulz, guards and npcs are all rude, I get friendlier people in Windhelm as a dark elf. Do not recommend as a vacation spot

Skyrim is in the midst of a horrible civil war, but nobody even bothers to flee West because, hey, at least they're not in the Reach.

I actually like RPing as a Breton sellsword that fled the region because it was a s***hole & then subsequently got caught using the chaos of the Skyrim civil war to illegally cross the border to Cyrodiil. It gives me a headcanon excuse to actually go to Bruma and the Reach before starting the main story. lol
