      I was gonna say... back in the day the Zelda games DID have rupees under every bush, hehe

    This is a really great idea! would their be any way to do this in Fallout 4 but instead of caps everything is done via a bartering system?

    The main idea is that the money throughout the game does not depreciate, so that the player feels every septim earned by him, so with increasing player level, the money is gradually withdrawn from the game, the game works like a neural network, the game understands that over time the player gets more money so merchants less money is issued. The presence of gold in other mods on the conscience of their authors. You can’t just go out and find a bag of gold every month in the same place!

    This sounds like an interesting idea!

    One question, though: if your plan is to make the players rely more and more on merchants as the main gold source, why limit their gold amount as they level up? Wouldn't it make more sense to let them have the same amount of gold throughout (save for the investor perk)?

    Also, how will this mod play with mods that add different gold sources? Summermist, for example, has an enchantment that gives you a certain amount of gold every X minutes.

    love the idea but maybe an optional version where the merchants only drop to a minimum of say...500 gold?

    interesting idea, question though do perks that let you invest in merchants still let them have gold/does this affect the thieves guild?

    This mod needs to be cleaned- there are quite a few ITMs and UDRs.

    P.S. You should make an alternative mod which makes only potatoes and cabbages only currency in the game.
