This is an awesome mod, I don't pick a fight if I'm not carrying my Shrouded Darkness ring. But I never found a ring in any of my dungeons. Could someone tell me where I can find the others? I did get mine by additem menu.
Great mod it was just what I was looking for. I'm glad I caught the mod when searching for the enchant mod.
I've been able to get the snowstorm onto an amulet, though it's always on. Just wondering what might be causing it to not activate only when in combat.
Okies, believing I had done something wrong, I tried the fire cloak enchant and all of the items I was able to enchant it on wont shut off.
Hello, you got a great mod, especially I liked the ring that calls the skeleton in battle, very useful when playing for a magician. There are two suggestions. I think it would be great to add a ring that can act as a "pacification" spell-in the school of illusion. For example, the main character is surrounded by enemies who are about to kill him and then the hero puts on a ring and the enemies (whoever they are), stop attacking him. they begin to be perceived as an osyuznik. This would be cool as for a magician who tricks enemies with an Illusion. So for a spy who snuck into the bandit camp to kill their leader. It would be almost as cool as Mephala's Sword. And if we add to this the function that the effect of this ring is preserved when turning into a werewolf or vampire Lord, then this will not be the price. And another option that has already been met in Skyrim but was not implemented to its full potential - the ring of the ethereal form. But in this case, when wearing the ring, its effect of immateriality would be preserved when interacting with the outside world, talking to the NPCs, casting spells and using weapons, without time restrictions. I understand that this may sound like cheats or an imbalance, but who cares at all? It's magic! nothing is impossible for her.
For starters, nice mod. I love the idea that Bethesda unfortunately never thought of. I wish more creative enchantments existed in the base game which this mod solves nicely but I am encountering a bug. Some of the enchantments that should only be active during combat get activated as soon as I equip the enchanted gear. I can assure you that there are no enemies nearby because i was in a home and I checked by equipping the rings. I doubt that my other mods are the cause of this because I don't have any that interact with this mod. What could possibly be activating the enchantments? Am I the only one experiencing this?
EDIT: They can be applied, just not to other rings. Many can be applied to boots, gloves, and helmets, and some for only one or two of the three.
To Liam: I noticed that when the invisibility enchantment is applied to other objects it is a permanent invisibility, crouched or not. Not something I'd personally want, but so I don't know if you're inclined to switch that to how you see up the ring. I wouldn't mind knowing what exact key words of the spell's name I'd need to use in console, however.
Would it be too much to ask for a retexture of candlelight? This is a perfect ring mod but I have always disliked how blinding the pure white orb (not the light itself(have other mods for that part)but the actual ball that produces the light)and how harsh on the eyes it is with darker ENBs installed
From the description I was expecting a couple of new items that would be inserted into the leveled lists and some construction recipes - perfect for conversion into an ESL. Instead it looks like it's also adding a test cell, several NPCs, some NavMesh, and editing an existing cell. Unless I'm reading the xEdit fields wrong ? I don't suppose there's a chance for a "minimalist" version is there ? I love the ideas behind these rings but really have to watch out for conflicts due to my high number of mods - ditto my preccccciiiiiioooooouuuusssss mod slots (obligatory ring joke). =) Figured I'd ask, thanks.
As far as I'm aware, I haven't added or edited any NPCs, except the skeleton that spawns when using the Ring of The Undead or changed any existing cells, so that part should be fine. The test cell was for testing purposes only, obviously, but I'll remove that
I can see that 3 NPC records have been edited (all of type EncVigilantOfStendarr), 2 cells have been edited: ("Nightcaller Temple", "Hall of Attainment") and 1 cell has been copied with no changes ("Hall of Countenance").
