The Vanilla version uses your default textures and meshes, and is basically just a face replacement.
The CBEE and UNP versions come with custom texture support and are pre-packed with body-specific textures. You can replace those textures with whatever alternative you prefer to use.
How high quality are the textures? Running on a fairly low end pc and I feel like my game slows down every time I am in the same cell as Auri. Might be some other issue.
edit: nvm, i believe it has to do with script latency
I'm glad to hear that you and others are enjoy it.
I'm not opposed to someone publishing it for XBox, as long as they get the go-ahead from the other authors who created the assets Lenka uses (listed under "Permissions and credits").
Many mod authors feel very strongly about keeping their assets here on the Nexus, so I can't say if it would be possible to start off with. While that might lead to unfortunate outcomes for players on other platforms, I consider the permissions these modders set on using their assets to be of the utmost seriousness as they provide the building blocks that make so many other people's work possible.
1. How critical is that warning for NMM installation? Does it apply to the Community version? Would Windows understand a Vortex designed file structure if added manually?
2. Would the 1.0 file for a hornless Auri cause a problem with the 1.1 CBBE version?
My suggestion, for both questions, would be to just back up your saves, try it, and see. I know that's not extremely helpful, but in my experience, it's always easy to return to a previous game state as long as you have backed up saves. For the record, I used Wrye Bash to install this mod, and it works extremely well.
1. The purpose of the warning is to hopefully stop anyone who wasn't confident in their abilities from potentially breaking Auri if they didn't like the replacer. As the old NMM just dumps all a mod's content in the Skyrim data folder, someone could end up with Auri having a permanent brown face if they just uninstalled it. But if you are confident in your abilities - go for it. Regarding Vortex - I don't use it so unfortunately I can't be of any help there.
2. Not at all, but I get what you took into consideration when you saw it. It just replaces the facegen headmesh and removes the antlers headpart from Auri's NPC table. If you start a new gave with Auri using one of these replacers, you should be able to add and remove it at any time without issue. It should also work without issue if you played with an unmodified Auri. If you are moving from one of the other community replacers to this one, you could end up with neck gaps if they increased Auri's weight from Waribiki's default of 0.
I went ahead and added the CBBE version last night with NMM. Even with renewing my Mator Smash patch, it crashed on startup numerous times. Even crashed when starting without SKSE64. Once I removed it, I was able to play again. I really liked how this looks, but some things are not meant to be. Maybe some fan can rework it at some point so it can install properly with all mod managers.
Not that I would feel competent to do this, but do you think if this mod was structured like the folders in this Auri makeover, without a folder for Lenka, it might work? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23782?tab=files
At least my guess is that something in the file folder structure is amiss.
1. Firstly, there is nothing wrong with the mod package you are downloading. Whenever I test something for someone, I download the files freshly from Nexus for installation, and they work every time. 2. If Skyrim crashes on startup, you probably have a mod with a missing master, or sometimes when it is above the master in your load order. Another cause is when you try to load a BSA from LE Skyrim in to SE. 3. The folder structure is irrelevant. As long as the assets in the plugin files are pointed to the right path, you can pretty much do whatever you want. 4. This mod does not use SKSE at all, or any other form of scripting. The plugin is tiny and contains something like 12 records: Auri's NPC record, her headpart records, her custom body armor and armature records and the textures records that allows you to give her unique textures. 5. The only dependency this mod has is Song of the Green (018Auri.esp). The CBBE version is simply packaged with CBBE texture files, and the UNP version with UNP texture files.
My first suggestion would be to use Mod Organizer 2 as your mod manager instead. It seems like you might be sitting with a completely different problem, and MO2 fixes quite a few modding issues simply by how it is designed to work. I build my own load orders, so I'm not sure what you would use to resolve any such issues. People suggest LOOT quite often, but there is still a manual element to ensuring your load order is 100%. Personally I just launch WryeBash out of MO2, and start the bashed patch process to check that nothing is loaded above their dependencies, and I load up my mods in XEdit to make my own patches and figure out what load order issues exist.
I do have CBBE and the Bijin textures for NPCs installed. Could that be affecting things? If I rand the pure vanilla makeover would that help?
My current pattern when I am well into my game is to run LOOT, followed by FNIS, and then when I am outside of NMM to run the Mator Smash utility. Were any portions of the LE file accidentally included in the 1.1 or the hornless add-on?
Ever since I switched to a different NPC overhaul, I've been looking for a good Auri replacer (the overhaul I'd been using, previously, did a really nice job just enhancing her vanilla appearance).. While all of those I tried are well made, none really fit into my game. Then, I saw this referenced in the comments section of one of those replacers, so I looked it up. When I clicked on your page, I instantly knew I'd found what I was looking for. This balances attractiveness, mischievousness and a certain feral look; it suits Auri wonderfully. She's also very expressive, and looks "real".. elf ears, antlers, sharpened teeth and all. I had been on the cusp of trying to find a suitable Bosmer follower mod, and using the Visual Transfer Tool, because none of the replacers were quite what I wanted.. now I don't have to. Thank you!
btw, just a note.. It's possible that some people don't know about this mod because you are using the Nudity Content tag. Since I have that one filtered out, I only came across your mod by fortunate fluke. Given that Auri seems clothed in all your images... perhaps the tag isn't needed. Just a thought, anyway. Regardless, she's lovely, so, again, many thank yous!
Hey, Sonja! This replacer seems good to me since it actually looks more like Auri's mod author (at least if that is a valid criterion for choosing a replacer - not that the mod author has horns or anything like that, oh well, you know what I mean).
The resemblance struck me, as well, even though it is coincidental. Plus, like I said... this overhaul also captures Auri's spirit extremely well. In my opinion, while there are certainly quite a few good Auri replacers out there, this one is easily the best.
@Corbaine, that is awesome! I just felt it would be a real shame if people missed this mod because of those tags. It was only fluke that I found it, and I'm so glad I did, because it really is the best one out there, in my opinion.
There's a few people below complaining of a neck seam on this NPC. I had the same problem on the CBBE version (I am using 3BBB - maybe that caused it) and fixed it via taking a copy of the files in the actors/character/female folder of the textures main folder of my general female skin mod , which is Demoniac - not including the vampire files - and pasting them into the Actors/Character/Lenka/Skin folder of this mod. Maybe it alters the face a tiny bit, but I can't see it, and the neck seam is fixed. This actually works on a lot of neck-seam issues with CBBE (but not all).
Last thing: thanks to the mod author for this great overhaul. Love the antlers.

The author has locked this comment topic for the time beingthis mod is not compatible with expressive facegen morphs. i was trying to figure out what was wrong for like 3 hours before i figured it out.
Since expressive facegen morphs probably changes how the facegen works it makes her look all wrong. simply turning the mod off fixed it for me.
I do, however, appreciate that you are trying to help people.

I'm playing on xbox now and am wondering if you'd consider putting it there, or allowing someone else to?
Thank you so much for making it!

Thanks for pointing that out - I somehow missed your comment initially. Moksha's replied fortunately brought it to my attention.
