For those updating to 1.5 and using any of the followers from the previous broken versions please make sure to clear all stored objects from the followers and containers in the locations this mod adds.
Might as well be "Friends of Skyrim". People you knew before you got knocked out and got amnesia crossing the border. That's why upon meeting them for the "first" time they tell the dragonborn "you've been a good friend to me, that means something" and will join you instantly. Endorsed and kudos. It will stay in my load order.
I love this mod but just can't stand that everyone is friendly to the player right in the beginning, so I changed all of them to neutral. If anyone is interested in my file I might upload it to the internet. In the future I think to give all of them a radiant quest to make them friendly and follower would be an awesome idea.
I was just about to install this when I saw your comment, and the friendliness things sounds a bit off-putting TBH. I would love a neutral version of the mod if you decide to upload it :)
Hi can anyone tell, will these NPCs just become followers at request or do you pay 500 gold or what? And do the NPCs come with titles such as "the Hunter, the Witch, the Necromancer" etc? Would be great to have the places modular as others have suggested too. Thanks.
Sorry, they are just instant follow on request like the original mod; I would love to chop the mod up into separate sections but sadly lack the experience and know how to do so.
This was always in my modlist when I played Oldrim, and I was surprised by how much I've missed it in SE. Some of the little houses are so neat, and I'm just a big fan of mods that add more details to the landscape and make it feel more lived in. Thank you SO much for porting it!! I was not looking forward to doing it myself, and kept putting it off, and now I don't have to!!
technically you could open it up in I think SSEdit and delete all the records for different cells all the way down to what you want to leave alone(like one city, inn, or region) and then save that, start back with the whole file and do it again, and again until you had your modules. It would probably, however, take forever.
I'm going to assume it's incompatible with Ebonvale and Unique Locations Riverwood Forest. ULRF is why I had to uninstall Ebonvale because of half of it floating off the ground, and Ebonvale is in exactly the spot on the map displaying Plainwatch's location.

I made a mod that made them mortal.
edit: it was a landscape conflict with legend of eagles nest but fixed by loading this mod after eagles nest
