Hi. I'm getting a LOOT warning with the text: This plugin has a header version of 1, which is less than the game's minimum supported header version of 1.7.
Does anybody know why and what this means? thanks in advance.
Thanks a bunch for the patch. I've been digging through COTN - Dawnstar and making some other patches (will probably upload en masse later this week), but noticed there was also some trigger items for this quest: http://3dnpc.com/wiki/interesting-npcs/quests/darkened-steel/darkened-steel/a-daedra-in-the-dark/cat-and-mouse/deathbroker/a-path-of-bones/ which probably still wouldn't work right, because they assume dresser/bed/object/etc placement which are no longer there.
I've made the changes which I *think* are necessary, but I hadn't played through that quest before to be able to compare/test it. Given I used your location for Theron ANYWAY, would you mind if I just fire this one over to you to use as an update, rather than uploading a separate plugin? It'd probably save confusion in the long run :)
I just need to verify four things placed in the worldspace to see if they need to be edited, so I'll probably be done with the changes tonight.
I forgot all about that quest. I would want to test it first before uploading it but if you want to send it to me so I could upload it then I don't have a problem with that and it would be appreciated.
However, if you have been making several other patches, it may be better to upload your all the patches as a new mod on a new page so users can get everything in place instead of downloading from different mod pages. You could even include my patch as part of that.
PM sent with path to file. I've not played the quest myself, and just tried out a vanilla+3dnpc save to see if I could console command through it - it'll be a bit of an effort to test, sadly, it looks like - this one is PRETTY deep in a nest of prerequisite tests, and when I tried to setstage through it some glitches started happening.
I've got 15 patches so far, so I'll probably upload en masse on another page. I can include yours as a proven one and credit you, and have the other one as an experimental one until I can verify it works. :)
I received your PM. It is probably going to be sometime before I check the patch you sent. You are free to use my patch as part of the mod you mentioned though.
Do not use! It is broken. Unrecognised plugin version by Wrye Bash and TexGen/Dyndolod refuses to run as long as this plugin is in the load order. Took me ages to find out...
This patch has no issues when I open it in the CK and using xEdit. The changes work fine in large load order. The only changes made are two records in the same cell. I know its a pain when something isn't working but don't blindly say this patch is broken.
I don't use Wyre Bash so I can't speak to that but I had no issues when using TexGen/Dyndolod. Either way, you don't gain anything adding this to a bashed patch or running this through TexGen/Dyndolod so you can add this afterword since the patch is an ESL file.
This patch only moves an NPC from Interesting NPCs and the leaning marker associated with that NPC so that they are inside the inn due to the changes made by Cities of the North Dawnstar.
Based on what you noted, you have an entirely different mod which is affecting the interior of Windpeak Inn. I would check your load order to see which mod adds that bed.
