Kogaan Hin Sil! This is exactly what I was after...I use mods that allow me to use candlelight as an enchantment and when your using darker ENB the white orb is blinding to look at even if the actual light from it is not. Although it feels kind of empty with no mesh at all. Perhaps you could replace it with the effect from your first screenshot or even work on a custom wisp mesh with a face and everything, it would be so cute! Definitely getting an endorsement from me!
Edit: I have noticed it doesnt seem to apply this to artificial candle light (via enchantments (liams enchanted rings specifically)) Could you possible work on a compatability patch for it?
I don't have SE installed, so it is quite a hassle for me to make things for SE, however, if you can find your way around in xEdit, you can replace the references in your liams enchanted rings mod with the references I created in this mod, and that will give you the desired results. You are also more than welcome to modify the meshes to your liking, I unfortunately don't have the time to do it. <3
Unfortunately the duration of your Candleight spell is too short! (1 MINUTE, 30 seconds...) Can you make a "toggleble" version of this mod where the spell lasts indefinitely untill you cast it again?
Otherwise I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with Better Candleight and Unobtrusive Candlelight instead...

Yes. Put "Better Candlelight" in load order after Vex's plugin. Then, with SSEEdit, copy as override with overwriting the following records in Magic Effect: Assoc. Item Casting Light Casting Art Hit Effect Art A visual aid within SSEEdit:
Use SSE Edit. Load SSE Edit up, check Vex's plugin only. Expand left pane tree view in Vex's plugin, find "Light" and expand. Select the light you'd like to adjust in the left pane, find "Radius" in the right pane. Adjust to your liking, lower values equates to smaller light radius.

This is amazing! The default candlelight was so out of place and completely ruined the atmosphere for me. This is absolutely perfect, and there is no annoying orb obstructing my vision.
Also someone in the comments said it broke his facelight mod, but for me it works just fine.
Best candlelight replacer on the Nexus. Thank you so much! I've adjusted a few things to make it cast a bit further and increased duration of effect to make it exactly how I like it. Is there a way to enable the glowing ball in my hand when preparing to cast it though? Thanks again, Velexia
As an autistic who really struggles with brightness THANK YOU SO MUCH! I tried years ago to change the magelight and gave up. I could never use it. This is exactly how I need it.
