Dialogue 00107F96 - you can ask Ulfric about things that happened in Helgen, which makes no sense with alternate start mods. I don't remember if Skyrim Unbound covers it, but Alternate Perspective definitely does not. Feel free to patch it.
Thanks for the suggestion. Skyrim Unbound handles it, maybe Alternate Perspective simply missed it. It's not strinctly related to the features in this mod, so I think the best approach would be to ask Alternate Perspective directly to add the appropriate conditions. It that doesn't happen I can add it to the AP patch as soon as I'll be able to update the mod.
I wouldn't bet on AP's author. Mod still has a lot of wonky dialogues but no updates, and bug section is ignored. At least from pure gameplay perspective it's functional.
Hadvar also says incorrect things during the walk between Helgen and Riverwood, but it would be entirely out of scope of your mod. Unless you really want to add it to your AP Patch.
A couple of bugs you may want to fix in the next update: some of the merchant dialogue where they assume the PC is an archer/alchemist/mage is conditioned on the player *not* having a very high skill level or not having a bow equipped, while I assume you meant to do the opposite. You also have one of Romlyn's incriminating dialogues checking whether Indaryn's coffin is dead, rather than Indaryn himself.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. They aren't bugs, actually: the conditions of the merchant dialogue are meant to be paired with the RandomPercent conditions below and also depend on the context of the dialogue, but I could improve them, it's been some time since I added them; the Romlyn dialogue is also correct, because that condition is paired with the above and they both check Indaryn's condition, which is Romlyn's boss and shouldn't hear that dialogue.
Either this or its companion dialogue mod is inducing a lighting bug. I am not sure how or why a dialogue mod would cause a lighting glitch, but I tested it with both mods disabled and it went away. The one I was using to test it was in the thieves guild next to the locked chests, but I think it is related to other similar glitches I'd noticed since using these mods where the lighting will suddenly switch light to dark depending on your perspective. Putting this here rather than bug reports as I did not narrow it down to a specific mod and because I can not rule out some kind of weird mod conflict.
Well, considering both mods don't edit Cells or Worldspaces, I find it rather difficult for them to be the culprit. You could try moving your lighting mod to the bottom of the load order, as a test, to see if the bug is still present, then move it up a little and test again each time to rule out mods.
Dialogue 0002BDE9 "Fear not. Come dragon or giant, we'll be ready." can be triggered on guards even when dragons haven't appeared yet. Feels like some condition can be added to the mod.
There is also dialogue 000DD0C0 about Helgen being destroyed by a dragon, which can be triggered on guards early in the game when attack on Helgen can be considered just a rumor.
Hi! I think I set these two dialogues to be triggered if the dragons are just a rumor, but Helgen has already happened. I'll check if only Whiterun hold's guards are able to say them, but I consider that event important enough to be able to generate such reactions this early throughout all of Skyrim. Anyway, I'll double check based on your feedback, thank you!
This one is 100% bug, in Alternate Perspective patch. Dialogue 000EA261 "They say Helgen got hit by a dragon". It has two conditions - must be a guard (okay), Way of the Voice not finished (also okay). And it's missing third condition - you must finish Unbound quest. Otherwise they will talk about it even when dragons haven't appeared and Helgen is fine. Especially goofy when they talk about it in the middle of Helgen.
By the way, I checked the other two dialogue you mentioned and I remembered: I didn't add them to the mod in the past because they were conflicting with Guard Dialogue Overhaul, and I didn't consider them egregious enough to warrant a patch. I'll consider a way of adding them to the mod without adding patches. It would be quite annoying to add a patch just for those two.
Edit: fixed the last part of my comment. Sorry, I got confused with More Dialogue Options patches. It's late here :P
I will take a look at my current load order and eventually patch the second one for my own use. Yeah modding dialogues is absolutely painful, this is why I try to avoid having too many mods that edit them.
If you have AYOP Misc installed as well as Save The Icerunner, the fomod should suggest the combined patch instead of the one for Save The Icerunner, because it's the only one you need for both mods.
Have you dropped the Guard Dialogue Overhaul esp? When I updated this mod the game squeaked about it going missing, and there's no option for it in the FOMOD. If it's a deliberate omission then I'll clean the game save up. Thanks!
Hi! The patch is no longer needed as off update 1.8.5, because I was able to make compatibility with GDO built-in, so loading my mod after it is enough. The affected records are few and not very delicate, but cleaning the save just in case couldn't hurt, I think.
I honestly couldn't answer for the first one, the second one just adds dialogue, I think, so it shouldn't cause issues. I suggest you to copy your last save and test them, in any case.
Alternate Perspective loads late and overwrites some conditions added by your mod. I'm going to patch both mods. Do you want the patch for your fomod or should I upload it on my profile ? Thx
One odd dialogue I've noticed while playing recently: Lynly Star-Sung likes to greet the player with, "Pardon me milord/milady, would you like to hear me play my lute?" ... And the player's response? "What do you play?" Not sure if the Dovahkiin is meant to be a bad listener or just an idiot, but it's a bit jarring. I took a peek in xEdit and found the lines for that conversation under the EditorID: DialogueIvarsteadLynlyBranchTopic.
Oh, that happens... like that dialogue with Nelacar that I already fixed: "I'm not with the College anymore." ... "Are you with the College?" Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it!

Or we could ask jayserpa to extend their Alternate Perspective - Voiced Addon
