I think this is definitely not a bug.
The producer deliberately did this to his troll.

I saw this SRCEO bug report.

Does your mod fix the first issue at all?

"Bandit Enforcer 19DD6, facegen is not setup even remotely close.

In nifskope, the face is seriously corrupted.

2 of its 6 textures point to female, the rest male. IoW it is a bit of a mess.

I generated a new facegen in the CK and that fixed the entire issue. Set with the 40 yr old female detail map

There is a second problem NPC, what I call, the bearded lady, exactly what it sounds like. It is a bandit chief I think?, female, with a beard. Will have to encounter this npc again."

No. I have also never seen any problem with enforcers in game. That record (##019DD6) is a template, not an NPC. It's referred in all actual bandit enforcer NPC records, but it's not an NPC itself, I don't think it even needs a facegen. If it were a bug, then all enforcers would be bugged, and they're fine. Having used SRCEO for over 5000 hours (really) without issues, I'd say don't worry about it ;)

    Hi,

Several of the Redguard bandits (Redguard, at least, as indicated by their Editor IDs) have their Race set to Nord. Is that intentional?

    Regards,

    dan.

You mean in my patch, or in SRCEO? I don't recall editing the race fields, they should follow whatever SRCEO used.

Well the only time I have seen such a bug was when i installed the first release of "Diverse Skyrim SSE". I am curious to see how many users met the bug.

I've never met the bug. I've never even heard of it before today, to be honest. And I also use Diverse Skyrim as well. *shrugs*

The mod's name, description, credits, file requirements, and even the download file link, all state that this addresses an issue with Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul. If you aren't using it, you should never have met the lovely bearded ladies, unless the same issue has been created, independently, by other mods. I never mentioned Diverse Skyrim SSE, never used it, has nothing do with this patch. This is for SRCEO only. It only edits records from Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul.esp. I hope I've made it clear, now.

Yea, I got that. Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul has been a permanent mod in my order. It's possible I just never noticed. Thinking it was a dude and killed her.

Oh sorry i have read the requirements indeed, but then i was misled by the other comments on the vanilla game... so this is bug only related to SR-CEO.
      My apologies for the comment

No need to apologise. I may have been slightly brash on my latest answer, but all I wanted was to get the message across, really. All comments are welcome, none resented.

I'm building my mod list for the pending update of Legacy of the Dragonborn following DarkLadyLexy's LotD Step Guide. It includes SRCEO, OBIS, and Omega Populated amongst others. I haven't yet seen any bearded ladies in my playtesting, however I downloaded this instantly just in case. As a woman, I can attest that most of us do not want beards and certainly don't want to see them on our bandit frenemies. So thank you for tracking this bug down and tackling it. Much appreciated.

Definitely going to try this out. I thought it may have been an issue with Diverse Skyrim and SRCEO but it is definitely present on SRCEO bandits for sure. I noticed them mostly on Bandit Enforcers.

Doing a search on SRCEO's comments/forum will net you a bunch of people, myself included, reporting these bearded women bandits. It's creepy as hell.

"What was her name? The pretty one with the beard." - Elder Scrolls Online NPCs, something tells me Bethesda knows about this. I've never seen it myself but Zenimax/Bethesda seem to make fun of it in ESO.

I'd love it if it were indeed part of the gaming popular culture. It's great to see mods having an impact, however subtle, in the official games. If bearded women are a thing with the vanilla game, I can't confirm but if that's the case, this patch will not fix it, as it only edits records from Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul.esp.

@crimsonskull13 "I think it's a result of a bad modded game though" In the words of Val Kilmer in "Tombstone", I would have to say..."I beg to differ sir" as I just saw this in Falskaar while playing last week. Didn't have the time to go "mod searching" at that time. It should be noted that the author and I have very similar "large" builds (including OBIS, SRCEO and Diverse Skyrim), and while it is entirely possible that a "badly modded game" could produce these results, this is not the case here I can assure you.
Another user mentioned Diverse Skyrim...which left me with invisible couriers leading to no courier at all, until deleting all couriers from the DS esp, which let Provincial Courier service perform as expected (and left me with the butt ugly vanilla courier but at least I could see him)
Point is thanks for this! Use if you see it...but never say never! It just means it hasn't been picked in your particular levelled list setup.....yet Modding is a journey and some fun in the process. Nice job my friend...now here's hoping for a save close in Falskaar to test!

Wait, isn't that a trans? Your being transphobic!

I have about 1400 hrs and haven't seen it either.... Funny though.

You probably don't mean it, but let's cut it right there. I'm not being transphobic, no more than everybody who ever issued an NPC overhaul was being "ugly-phobic". Will not discuss this any further, at all.

"I have about 1400 hrs and haven't seen it either.." that's the beauty of statistics, and how levelled lists work. You could simply not have noticed them, and it's entirely possible that they never got picked in your game. As I said, have seen them in every SSE playthrough for the past 2 years. The fact is, the records are there, so they can get picked, or not. Matter of chance.

Me too. I have 2800+ hrs into SE + Oldrim and haven't seen it. I use a few mods that increase spawn of bandits, but not too many as the mod author. I think it's a result of a bad modded game though.

    Your mod is unimmersive!

True Nord women, the daughters of Skyrim, wear their beards with pride!

Let them wear it proudly, then. I happen to prefer the game's Nord women to wear fur in other furrows. Proudly, of course.
