Hey I just created my first mod and its an NPC horse that I retextured in NifSkope and I'm getting a weird error within creation kit saying that there is no rim lighting map on horseBody3 which is the eye. I even tried removing the rim_lighting flag and replaced it with anisotropic_lighting. If you came up against this in your mod and found a fix I'd appreciate any help and Id give you props in my mods description. The mod works on PC but I'm unable to archive it for XboxOne because of this.
I'm having a bug where horses being ridden look like the model is clipping through the floor half and the npc riding the horse is just floating, screenshot for example
Very nice. I like how you haven't gone silly and tried making super smooth, 'pretty' horses, but kept them in the style of the game, as work horses, and dare I say it, more realistic for the time. Endorsed.
"for the time" LMAO i get what you mean but you know it kinda doesnt make sense, also horses were very well kept in the middle ages, they were (and still are) very expensive and important to their owners.
But i agree that its nice to have a close to vanilla retex, i always prefer close to vanilla retextures and remodels
The before horses look like somebody didn't rub them down carefully after exercise - no true horseperson. Dried sweat in the hair is irritating to horses, whose skin is quite sensitive - they can feel when a fly lands on them.

perhaps you will add a retexture of the Frost horse? I don't like other retextures, I would like to see yours.
