About this mod

Adds invisible and upgradable heavy/light armor that can be worn over your clothing. Do you really love that one outfit but it is clothing thus has no armor? Or so you feel that you need more armor? Then you are at the right place.

Changelogs
If you update from v1.0, disable mod, load game, save game, enable new version, enter game, get new armor! (I am sorry if you lose enchanted/upgraded armor, but life's not fair)

In my latest plays, I took a liking to custom armors and clothing. They are very nice change in the game, but can very easily break armor values. So I found StarShowMaster's mod Invisible Armors that helped with the armor rating problem, but it still lacked a bit (basically I had daedric armor from the start of the game).

That led me to create this mod, with 5 tiers of invisible armors that are both upgradable and temperable. Tiers are kept vanilla like, though more linear.  Upgrades are done at smithing forge where you combine invisible armor with one tier higher normal armor (tier 2 light armor is done by combining tier 1 armor with leather armor)

xEdit script complimenting this mod is now available! Script is able to create a patch for your selected mods that will transform all armors into clothing. Usage is very simple:
0. add the script in "Edit Scripts" folder in you xEdit instalation folder.
0a. Script requires mteFunctions
1. load all armor mods you want to be patched into xEdit
2. Select all armor mods in the left panel of xEdit (except for loaded masters - like Skyrim.esm)
3. Right click and select "Apply script"
4. Find script "Skyrim - MNI - Convert Armor to clothing" and start it
5. Fill in the opened form and enjoy!
