hi im playing as a khajiit right now and it doesnt give me either of the powers. and ive tried going into the MCM to use the cheats to give me the powers, but that doesnt work either and nothing changes. has anyone else been able to fix this? or is there another way im supposed to get the powers? thank you
I've noticed that once you download and activate the hot patch the game will crash if you remove it when trying to get the main file to work again with a new character. The recommended process was to deactivate the Predator Vision mod and SKYUI, load a character, save, then exit and reactivate the mod. However, when deactivating it and reloading a character without the mod causes the game to crash. That needs fixing.
That video explains everything in a such an understandable way, that is really, REALLY good! Thank you! Btw, in case the author of the mod really reads here, could you tell me what kind of accent you have? Is that Great Britain English? Scottish? Irlandish? Does that word exist? :-)
For anyone wondering, yes, this mod is safe to ESL. Just tested it on a modified NOLVUS modlist. No issues. That said, ENB problems discussed below will likely still be an issue. You'll still need to tweak your ENB to resolve it [assuming your ENB actually causes issues. I'm using Pi-Cho with no problems.]
Really like this mod and got it working with Ominous ENB just fine, by adjusting the necessary parameters. I still ran into some issue. If I play in survival mode (which I usually do) and get cold (which is all the time at night) it turns off the Night Vision for some reason, I could not figure out.
Without the ENB off this issue does not occur. So has anybody an idea, what this is about and maybe even how to fix it?
Not sure if anyone can help me with this or not; Using an ENB (Cathedral Weathers) and somehow, this mod "doesn't" seem to function as it should when I'm not using the ENB. Mainly when activating the vision, I get the same view as if while I'm not using it.

Hey there, fortunately there is a workaround this issue. you just have to tweak the enb effect file for this to work, it works in game too.
Just open your ENB control pannel (default is shift+enter if I recall correctly), in the window that shows your current FPS there's a drop down menu that's called "GUI", make sure that "ShowShadersWindow" is enabled. Moving to the shaders window, look for "ENBEFFECT.FX" and scroll down almost to the end, there should be a section called "NightEye Adjustment", enable "use NightEye Fix" and finally set these to the following:
Params01[5].w > Value*0.1 to 0 Params01[5].w < Value*0.1 to 2 or max available Params01[4].w > Value to 0 Params01[4].w < Value to 1 or max available
There aresome other parameters like contrast, saturation, brightness and even tint (which is represented with a color bar that you can click to expand the R,G and B ammounts).
That was a TL;DR of sorts.
Now, why these values... There's a drop down menu inside the shaders window that's called constants; here there will be a lot of items called enbeffect.fx:: Param01[X].x that will constantly change depending on the time of day or night vision effect. For example mine were:
So, you see, for the effect to work it must be inside the corresponding range of BOTH effects, otherwise one or the other won't work. Here you can see my lowest number was 0.029 and my highest was 0.34, so by going lower that 0.029 and higer than 0.34 you're set.
You may think that would be all, but these suckers change just as the day changes so go with 0 when it ask you that the value should be higher than X (>) and with the max available when it ask you that the value should be lower than X (<).
I have this installed just fine via Vortex yet it never boots up on load. No MCM messages, no mod menu, no power added...am I just not waiting long enough for it's initial startup?
EDIT: Uninstalled, fresh save in small interior, then re-activated.
Seems to be up and working now...might just need to tinker with it since my enb makes balancing night vision + darker nights really challenging.
I'm getting this randomly. I am a nord, non-werewolf. I am not sure what I'm doing that triggers this but it is driving me up the wall. Any idea if this is your mod?
