Great mod. My ENB is set to hardcore so there are times where its pitch black in dungeons and some exterior locations w/o a torch. Its fun most of the time and makes them scary and challenging . But other times its major pain and makes the game tedious. Love being able to toggle on Night Eye in those times I just cant fiddle with a torch

Hi everyone! I love the mod, but I really dislike radial blur. Anyone know how to tweak the mod in Xedit or CK to get rid of the blur effect on the night eye effects?

use the CK and you can kind of see your changes in action. you can edit via xedit if you know what you're doing

Nope. With ENB on, I could see no change in brightness with Hunter's Nightvision. Pitch black was still pitch black. With ENB off, there was a definite change.

Edit: got it to work with ENB. I had to disable ENB's Nighteye fix and enable color correction.

yes, but not all ENBs have the fix or are calibrated

i use Ljoss which is automatically set up to work with nighteye, but some others have the ENB nighteye fix built it and you just have to adjust 2 sliders in the ENB settings and then it will work, it's super easy

the nighteye fix doesn't look like vanilla though but both are perfectly fine.

OK, FINALLY have Hunter's Predator Vision working!!!! Something seems wrong in the compiled PEX script included in the BSA.

After unpacking Predator vision.bsa using BSA Unpacker
+After using the Papyrus Compiler app for SE downloaded at the nexus, I recompiled the huntersthermalactivationscript.psc as it comes included in the source folder. The compiled PEX script comes out different and actually works.

Does Hunter's Predator Vision Lesser power work for everyone else? Im amazed noone has brought this up more frequently.

i can confirm it works fo incompatibility with alternate start, I extracted the bsa and recompiled the same script and it fixed compatibility for me with alternate start - live another life mod, in case the author wants to fix the package, he might try and test for himself this fix, because it worked for me and also worked for the user above who suggested, anyway thanks man!! huge help here, also used the Papyrus Compiler app for SE suggested above,

      @NemerAshour
can I suggest downloading the version 4 beta of the papyrus compiler app? It has a BETA version with the drop and drag function.
Just open the app make sure your PSC file you want to compile is in Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Source/Scripts and drag it over.
I don't have the recompiled script file, and Im not going to unpack the BSA, its at the authors disposition to re-release the script as it is his work :).
If your getting an error it isn't because the psc file has an error, as it compiles fine for both the above people ;). Ill probably get around to doing this eventually, but I am only playing as a werewolf atm and not having the power working doesn't bother me, as werewolves without beast form have no access anyways. I still suggest learning how to use the papyrus compiler app though. It is very easy with the beta versions.

Heads up, if you're having issues with this mod not working while installed, ask yourself this one question:

"Am I Using Live Another Life"

If you said yes, there's your answer. For some heretofore unknown reason, LAl and PV have a minor conflict that results in PV not functioning correctly. Good news is, if you have a clean save without PV in and are outside after the first part of LAL, you can load it back in and it works fine now.

TheSpartanThief is correct this is a carry over from Oldrim.
Do NOT ACTIVATE PREDATOR VISION IN YOUR MOD ORDER UNTIL AFTER CHARACTER CREATION then just lsave and exit activate in your mod manager and reenter the game predator vision will work as normal.
It is an issue with character creation disabling pred vision.

Is there a way to fix this after you already made a character and had them loaded at the same time? I'm level 11 now and became a vampire to discover that PV doesn't work. I'd really rather not have to start entirely over.

      Any help is appreciated.

You can only start without it and activate later if Predator Vision isn't being included in any patches you've created. Are there any thoughts on how to restart the scripts/quest that make this active? I'm still fishing for this and other script related info as I'm out of my depth troubleshooting that sort of thing. I can say that using Fallrim Tools' ReSaver shows, on my save that the vision modes won't work, there are over 70 suspended stacks regarding huntervision, and as many active scripts running regarding huntervision. Not sure if there's a way to safely terminate and restart what's needed? Any insight would be appreciated.

Does this conflict with Skyrim Unbound too or JUST LAL?

Its not directly a LAL problem it seams to be a Problem that the Character Creation messes with, so pretty much everytime you use the Character Creation with pretty much any mod or eevn in Vanilla it could mess things up

How can I make it works just for werewolf in beast form with the sense vision? Usually vampires has the night eye power, so this become useless, and with another vision on werewolf could be a nice way to make them different

Do you mean predator vision by sense vision? You need to explain yourself better, because your wording makes no sense at all. If you activate hunters nightvision in human form and transform to werewolf you get the predator vision. Hunters Nightvision isnt available in werewolf beast form, but is if your a werewolf in human form.

Ok sorry, i'll explain myself, i mean, i would like a mod like this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21286 but with the "sense vision" ( https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1704/images/22274-3-1344785105.jpg) instead of night vision that would be perfect, cause in this way u can have the default night vision on vampyer with his ability, and the default predator vision on werewolf

The only difference between this mod and that, is that you need to use nightvision(or nighteye) as a human before you transform into werewolf then you get “sense vision” as a werewolf! It doesnt activate automatically(like that mod) because that would be annoying as hell when u want to be able to see in normal light as werewolf aswell. If you want to have it always on automatically without using a power first youd need to use the creation kit and change it urself :p its not too hard. I recompiled the predator vision script because it never worked for me and now it works even on new characters :).

i dont know which mods you use for Vampir and Werewolf but im using Sacrosanct and my Night Eye / Vampire Sight gets overtaken from Predator Vision that loads later, so actually i can use Vampire Sight and see in Nightvision, do i activate it again it changes to Predator Vision and a 3rd time deactivates it.
In Case of my Moonlight Tales theres a Perk to activate Nightvision in Werewolf form wich also gets replaced by Predator Vision if i check it in the MCM.
It schould work pretty much the same with the other Vampir Werewolf mods out there, you maybe just need to check in xedit that everything from Predator vision overwrites the other things.
On Vanilla without mod yeah dont know.

Seriously i have tried starting a new game, save inside helgen keep activated the predator.esp added vampire lord.
The Hunters Predator Vision Power fails 100%. Can anyone confirm the power works? The other 2 are fine. I didnt download the illusion patch, possibly that matters?

The predators power doesnt work for me.. only when using vampires sight. So if i cycle through night vision it works standalone does sweet FA.

I'm using this with cathedral weathers and a cathedralist ENB, which darkens up the environment considerably.

My character this run is a werewolf. Really steering into the werewolf side of the companions. And let me tell you, this mod has MADE the playthrough fun. He really feels like a dangerous hunter, skulking about. But it's not PERFECT. Predator vision doesn't brighten up the whole environment. It just works as infrared. Night vision lights up more, but then I lose the predator vision. It means all three vision modes have practical uses. It ends up a nice sort of balance. I love it.

I love how vampires are still invisible to the predator vision.

Endorsed. Definitely making this playthrough fun.
