The new file is a completely new esl-flagged plugin re-built from scratch. If you already have the mod installed, please UNINSTALL it prior to downloading the new version!
It should be completely safe to remove and upgrade mid-game; you will lose any existing copies of the necklace and have to craft new ones, that's all. Given that the only time this mod interfaces with the marriage quest is one line of dialogue mid-interaction, you should be fine to remove/update at any time. No "clean save" required.
If you don't want this mod in your game, don't download it. Easy as that. This isn't the place to vent your irrational homophobia. There are plenty of places on the internet steeped in that kind of hate you can find instead. This mod is clearly labeled as queer, so you know exactly what you're getting when you click on it. If that's not what you want, then go away. Nobody here is interested in any of your small-minded bullshit. We just came here to play Skyrim. You should go do the same because from now on I'm just going to be removing your irrelevant comments and possibly blocking and/or reporting you depending on how out of line you get. Bye!

I downloaded a bundle mod on xbox with this mod included just to try it out despite not being gay and I think its really good, I love that people like you do this sort of thing to help gay players feel more comfortable when they want to be married in game
The other day, there was a post on r/skyrimmods from someone looking to make his Skyrim very gay... but on Xbox. This is now the second mod I've run across that I can't recommend. (I'm assuming. I don't have an Xbox, so I can't check myself.) Just something to consider if you should wish to port this over, because there is demand from at least one person :).

I did port both this and the Lavender Necklace mod to XBox, actually! The subtitle there is "Make Skyrim Gayer" instead of "Queering Skyrim," because you can't use the word "queer" for mod titles on Bethesda.net I'll probably port the Trans Necklace one too, once I've finished the rest of the lore books I"m currently working on for it.
In the meantime, here are the XBox links for the first two:
Tathrin, deepest thanks for adding a MLM mod to the nexus. I have found so very little MLM content on the Nexus. And Skyrim is very important to me. I've spent so many happy hours exploring and just looking at the scenery, and fighting alongside my male companions. For a guy who lives alone and has been very isolated during the pandemic, Skyrim has been a solace. But I wish it was more like I see life as a MLM person. So, I'm always looking for those mods that enable me to adjust the game for me. Don't listen to the haters. They don't know what it is like to be a MLM or an ally of MLM. Thanks for your kindness in sharing this mod with us.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and your extremely kind words. They really brightened my day. I'm so glad that I could bring some extra happiness into your Skyrim. (Especially right now.) I hope you enjoy it mightily! And I promise, I have no intention of stopping in my quest to bring more love and queerness to Skyrim, no matter what the haters say. Thank you. Take care of yourself. And go woo many a handsome Skyrim gent with your new bling!
oh, this'll work great with my MLM characters! i think it would've been cool if it was a little more colourful, like the WLW necklace, but it's not like it looks bad like this, so like. ¯\_(?)_/¯ i just like colourful things lol
Ha I hear that. Unfortunately, my texturing skills are extremely limited so we're stuck with what Skyrim gives us for now lol. (I'll definitely recommend those Pride banners and rainbow robes in the list on the description page, though!)
I used your Lavender Menace mod on XBox before. I don't really know the right words to "define" my sexuality (not that I think I really need to, honestly), but seeing queer friendly mods makes me happy. Keep doing the thing! <3
I don't think you need to, either! That's why I prefer umbrella terms like queer because we can all fit regardless, so glad to help spread the love. And I'm glad to know it actually works on XBox since I don't have that console myself, thanks!
Ohhh yes! It does! I was happy to see it over there when I first started playing with mods. I play on primarily PC now, but I really enjoyed playing with mods on xbox. Take care and I hope to see more awesome mods from you.<333
Edit: I've now worn this to interact with a few different fellas and I even got one follower to wear one too (is that what is necessary?) but I'm yet to see any different dialogue options. :( I've moved this mod almost to the bottom of my load order just in case but nothing yet. Please advise.
Is the Amulet of Mara working to entice marriage offers? It could be that the Marriage Quest hasn't gotten far enough to trigger that stage yet. Fastest way to test if that quest is running is to go to the Temple of Mara in Riften and help the priests there, then console yourself ten fire salts for Balimund, hand them over, and see if he starts flirting with you.
If you find that the Amulet of Mara works for you and the Blueflower Necklace doesn't, let me know and I'll try to see what's going wrong with the quest!

Sincerely, a queer Skyrim player who wanted to add more to their clearly gay Khajiit

I just started a new playthrough yesterday (for a few reasons) so it'll be a little while. :)
Cheers.
